39.205383 -76.677733commercials!!??!!. I have been going to this Hoyts in Linthicum since it opened years ago. I go to see a movie about once a month there. I recently went and was alarmed and angered by the 8, yes eight, commercials before the four movie previews, before the REAL movie. I am paying $10 to see a movie, I DO NOT WANT TO SEE COMMERCIALS! Put up HD screens in the lobby over the popcorn stand with commercials, not prior to my movie. I also was very disappointed in the STALE popcorn, I was too lazy to get up and complain. I am in search of another theater, or I will just stay home and order through cable.
worst movie experience i've ever had.... this theatre was reccommended by a co-worker because it is not as crowded as other theatres in the area. I went to a 945 p.m. showing of "last house on the left" After the movie had played for 15 min. a large group of teenagers walked in. They were extremely loud - talking amongst themselves and then proceeded to yell loudly at the screen. There was a sexual assault scene to which i had to listen to them cheering on the "perpretrator" . they left shortly after. The people behind me were chatting, answering their telephone, dropping bottles and yelling profanity at the screen. I left the theatre to let the manager know, she offered to send in an usher. the usher arrived and he/she stood at the entrance and allowed the behavior to continue. The theatre manager did not apologize or offer a refund or tickets to see the movie at another time. it was , hands down, the worst experience i've had in a theatre and non of the eployees did anything to stop the behavior or compensate me.
Best Theatre in the Baltmore-Annapolis Area. Clean facilities, pleasant staff and easy parking just for starters. Even when busy the crowds are not so cumbersome that you feel stressed, nor do the lines to enter or get food last too long. The theatre is spacious and the seatingis stadium and very comfortable, with space down low for strollers if you have children or wheel chairs. I highly reccomend this theatre as your exclusive resource for movies, there are no silly kids lining the entry pretedning they are cool or mouthing off, no crowds, just a friendly and comfortable theatre that is perfect for families.
The Hoyt. Trust Me...I or my children ever go to any other theater in the Greater Baltimore Area. I wouldn't even think of it. It has always been a good experience.
My Favorite Movie Theater.. This place is like my own private get-away. Not overly crowded, very very clean, fun games for before the movie, and a great set-up. I can tell you that unless I really don't have a choice, I will never go to any other theater agian.
Great customer service. This theater came up when my friends and i were writing reviews and one them says this we all need to go check this one out. is one of the oldest theatres around here but it is clean and she knows that the management staff is very helpful. i stil have to go there we might just go this weekend. and write about it later.
