Editorial Review for ESPN Zone – by Steve Lichtenstein

The Scene
More than a restaurant, it's practically a recreation center. The second floor is filled with state-of-the-art video games, air-hockey tables and batting cages. Sports fans can watch one of many TVs broadcasting the latest game, from NFL and NBA to cycling and golf.

The Food

Indulge your sports craving as you feed your gut. Cuisine runs the gamut from standard bar burgers and sandwiches to chicken and broccoli pasta or buffalo chicken salad. The chicken Caesar sandwich combines tender chicken breast, Caesar dressing and crisp lettuce, all tucked inside a buttered sesame bun. Sticky-sweet bourbon and maple syrup sauce makes the grilled pork chops great, but the cheese fries, dripping with melted cheddar, bacon and sour cream, are amazing. Reasonably priced and served in big portions, ESPN Zone's food fits the sports-infused atmosphere like a glove.

The Extras

When en route to the bathrooms, look for the giant cheese sculpture of Vince Lombardi.

This place is good for out of towners. It is not in the best location for locals, it is small and pricey. Just because it has the name ESPN on it does not make it a great sports bar. Even if you are from out of town, go to any of the other bars and you will have a better time Hon!

Pros: TV room, store

Cons: small, long lines, price
