The Scene
Rockers and indie rockers, Fletcher's may be your spiritual home. This bar packs in patrons with big names each week, despite the frat-basement aesthetics and often deafening acoustics. Grab a bottle from the girl with the tub on show nights--she's got domestics and imports. Mixed drinks tend to be small and skimpy, but not terribly overpriced. A sweetly balanced Cap'n and Coke or a Jack and ginger can be had for a reasonable price.
The Draw
One of Baltimore's best rock venues, Fletcher's lures both national and local acts into its cramped stage area. The first floor fits the standard bar and pool table model, but the main attraction is the live music upstairs.

Indie, Alternative and just bare bone rockin place. Live music on the 2nd floor. Killer DJ's on the first. My favorite place to party in Baltimore. Since 1972 it' a friggin institution!
Pros: Always a rockin' party
Cons: Always a hung over tomorrow
