In Short
A jumble of bar-height tables, populated by cozy couples sharing appetizers, flanks the entrance while giant neon martini glasses illuminate the bottles and cigar case behind the bar. A more subdued upstairs dining room painted a romantic, dusky blue is embellished with a mural of twinkling stars and columns. The bartender's skill in mixing a dry, straightforward martini will please the cocktail's devotees. However, the menu of 52 variations--including a chocolate martini--may leave the purist befuddled.

The staff was really nice. We had a large group of people, and they were able to seat us together really quickly, which we appreciated. I didn't think that my sandwich was that great -- and the fries were a little cold. Also, I object on principle to the whole 8,000 kinds of martinis thing... A martini is gin, bitters and an olive. I'm a purist, I guess.
