First Time Customer...Great cut!.
I recently had my first hair appointment at Brocato's last Friday evening. My hair was in dire need of a good cut. In the Baltimore area, haircuts run about $50-$60 and Brocato's is no different .
The DIFFERENCE is KASEY (Casey, Kacie...not sure how she spells it.) Too many times I have had cuts at other salons where I walked out twenty minutes and $60 later feeling like I didn't get my monies worth. This was not the case with Kasey.
She took a ton of time on my hair. We chatted the whole time and she was so sweet and professional. I absolutley love my cut and look forward to going back to see her again!
On a negative note, the receptionist was RUDE and down right NASTY! I could not even believe that someone would be so rude who is supposed to me the first and last person dealing with customers. Fortunately I only spent about 5 minutes with her while I paid.
Brocato's also offers a promo for first time clients if you sign up on their website. 50% off your second appt...highly reccomend signing up.
You have to see Lorri!!. You need to go see Lorri!! She always gives me what I am looking for. Even when I have a hard time explaining what I want, she just always seems to get it. Prices at Brocatos aren't cheap, but I always leave more than satisfied, and that is worth what she charges(which is no more than I have paid at other salons in the area)...all and all... shes wonderful!
Rip off!. I've gone to Brocoto's in the past and have had a good experience with Lauren. My regular stylist had left and the staff placed me with Patty. I had full highlights done (which were good), but Patty waited until AFTER the appointment to notify me that she was charging me $60 more than the quoted price because my roots were really grown out. I argued that she could have told me that in the beginning, but neglected to. She stated that the next time I come in, I'll get the original quoted $140!!! I was so upset that I just paid and left...NEVER again!
Customer Service Lacking. I waited 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment because there was no stylist in the building. The management didn't do anything about it. I paid full price. Seem disorganized and not customer-centered. Not going back and can't recommend it.
Unhappy customer. I have been a loyal customer to Brocato's for about 5 years but was very displeased with my experience there today. My sister and I went in together and got the exact same thing done to our hair. I was cashed out 1st and was charged $20 more dollars than she was. Also, I presented a $10 off coupon but still ended up paying more than usual. How can the price of the same cut be so drastic?Apparently it was the owner who cut my hair and she is okay doing that. I will not return after my visit today.
The BEST hair and service!. Kristyn does my hair and she ALWAYS does a great job. She also always does exactly what i ask and doesn't try to do whatever she wants. She's friendly and makes you feel comfortable. She does my cut and color, and i'm always very pleased with what she does. I would highly reccomend her and make sure you ask for her when you go to Brocato's!
Wonderful service and decor. Kristen did a great job! She tool my hair from black to blonde and gave me a great cut. She was very careful and did not rush. Great job!
Great Hair, Great People, Great Prices.
I moved downtown from the county and asked a few of my friends if they knew of a great place for a haircut and highlights. One of my friends recommended Brocato's. I just called in and asked if any of the stylists had any openings. I was lucky and got Kristyn D. I sure did luck out! I know have my go to girl and she does such a great job!
Everyone at the studio has been so nice. The studio is very hip and colorful. There is always something to look at! I also LOVE the fact that they are open 7 days a week. I don't have the luxury of having a flexible work schedule, so to have advantage of Saturdays AND Sundays is amazing! My old stylists only worked like 4 days a week and I could NEVER get an appointment.
If you're looking for a new hair stylist...call and ask to have Krystin D do your hair...or any of the stylists really!
My Favorite Salon.
Okay, I'm not what you'd call "good" with hair. I'd be happy most days to leave the house with my hair looking relatively straight - and I have an album of so-so looking photos to prove it.
But I have to give my stylist Kristyn at Brocatos a lot of credit. She has definitely taken my hair up a notch. She helped me find the best color to hide my grey and touch it up with gloss and conditioning treatments so that it looks awesome every day with virtually no effort on my part.
Plus, she's a whole lot of fun to spend an hour or so with while the color sets.
The services at Brocatos are quite affordable - I have paid a whole lot more for not as good of a haircut. The attention they give each one of their clients is superb.
I am definitely a fan. If you live in Baltimore and need some hair help, check out Kristyn at Brocatos!
