Love it!

by CSMobileUser at Citysearch

I went there a few months ago for a wedding. I loved it there so much but unfortunately, I'm a broke college student so I couldn't keep going the way I planned. I recommend this salon to anyone. The stylist are nice and very professional. I plan on going back when my finances get back on track.

Amazing Stylist

by NCollie89 at Citysearch

Diva's is a great salon, infact it's the only one that I have been going to since the 8th grade... well over 5 years ago! It has a great location, right on the corner with high glass windows and high ceilings. The stylist there are wonderful and are even more dedicated to keeping your hair healthy than you may think. It's not just about the money to them (they are far from cheap, a typical visit for me is about $65 for a wash and curl). But I love the results everytime I go. I started with Danielle as my stylist but switch over to Erika when I cut of the relaxed part of my hair. And boy do I love my shoulder length bob with bangs!!! Unfortunately for my hair, I stopped going for about a year so right now my hair is still in what I call "rehabilitation mode" so it's not as healthy as it used to be, but I trust that with Erika's advice and skills, my hair will be 100% healthy in no time. Myeisha does my moms hair on occasion and it always looks amazing!

Great hair care but not cheap!

by Jessica2009 at Citysearch

I moved to Baltimore 4 years ago from New York. Therefore, I am used to a variety of options in pricing and quality in hair care. I tried several salons pricey and discounted (Dominicans Salons) in Baltimore and Baltimore County. Diva?s tops the list and I have been a client for over 3 years.

I really like Diva's because the stylists are into hair care in addition to contemporary styles. My stylist is Erica and is great. She cuts hair very well and also inspects my hair shaft to make sure it is healthy.

The main drawback is the price. Good hair care and great style does not come cheap at Diva's. A wash will cost you $45 w/out tip. Conditioner an extra $20. Perms could be $100 or more. Color extra $30. Cuts extra $30.

I go back because my hair looks good and is healthy. I let Diva's do all my chemicals and cuts but go to discount salons for biweekly washes. I would recommend Diva's because you will be satisfied.

The wait is long too!! At least four hours for chemicals start to finish. In the winter, dress warm. The salon is spacious with high ceilings so it is not warm and cozy like your home.

As long as I live here, Diva's is my salon. Miaesha and Danielle are good stylists as well. There is a guy there (don?t know his name), he is good too.

The environment is positive and the background music is always nice. Parking is a hassle and is limited. Budget $5-10 to park on a lot, worrying about the parking rules is the not worth the hassle.

  • Pros: Hair care, skilled stylists, quality products
  • Cons: Prices, parking
