Super experience, highly recommend! I have been living in Baltimore going on two years now, moved from New York to complete my residency with Johns Hopkins. One of the few things I dreaded leaving behind was my salon. Like most I bounced from place to place trying to find someone who knew what they were doing. I discovered Dona's when I purchased a Groupon for mink eyelash extensions (not even considering them until I saw them on my girlfriend). So, the day I went Dona and the girls were doing up do's for a brides group. After Natalia finished with my eye lashes (they look amazing and everyone notices!!!) I saw how fantastic the bridal party looked. For sure, no salon in Baltimore could match what Dona did. I had to give her a shot after seeing those results. I can comfortably say, cut, color or style I will never go anywhere else as long as I live here. Hands down, best hair salon in Baltimore!

This was a disaster. Don't go here. I had an appointment for a manicure. I arrived on time and was waiting for an hour and a half. They told me that the first appointment of the day came late (if they came so late, they should have just explained that they need to reschedule because there are other clients). The staff was rude and the manicurist in particular was very rude. The management/receptionist clearly had no communication with the staff, because both asked the manicurist when she'd be available and she just didn't even acknowledge or respond to them. It was very awkward.

Only go here if you have a lot of time to waste. NOT PUNCTUAL at all and completely disregard their clients' time.

Best Hair Salon in Baltimore. My girlfriend asked me the other day if she would look sexier with longer more full hair. Thought it was a loaded question, turns out she just got a quote for hair extensions and wanted me to pay half. I tried talking her out of it upon seeing the expense. i am extremely happy I gave in. She came home looking fantastic! Don't get me wrong, she was hot before but now I feel like I am dating a model. Her hair looks and feels completely natural. It seems to have made her more confident and adventurous too. Dona did such a phenomenal job for her that I decided to give her a shot myself. Glad I did. Awesome hair cut and Dona hooked me up with some good styling tips. All around best hair salon in Baltimore.

Worst Experience Ever. I have never in my life been to a hair salon that was SO unorganized. They were overbooked, I waited an hour and a half after my appointment time to be seen. Some girl who had no idea what she was doing tried to do my color and it had to go back and be fixed and it still came out wrong. I asked for a funky, hip pixie cut

( I even showed her a picture) and left looking like the mom from the Brady Bunch. Dona seemed like she knew what she was doing and was very nice but the place is just a disaster. I left in tears, and will never go back.

Donna the best. Is a great place where you feel good. I lived in Baltimore 2 years ago and only Donna knew how I always wanted my hair cut. now I'm in my country and I'd like to have communication with you my friend Donna. Don't bother with this place.. I'd read the other reviews for this place so I figured I'd give it a try. I made an appointment for 4:00 pm and walked through a downpour to get there on time, giving myself two hours to get my highlights done before an evening engagement. One hour later, I was still waiting. There were two stylists (one of which I assume was Dona) and only two clients, yet no one bothered to speak to me, not even to say, "Sorry to keep you waiting" or "Would you mind coming back in an hour?" At one point, one of the stylists asked if I had an appointment. When I said I had one for 4 o'clock, she walked away without saying anything. So I continued to wait. Finally, after about an hour, I left, saying I'd call to make another appointment. The stylists barely looked up, and made no apologies for the wait. Needless to say, I won't be calling to make another appointment. It appears this place doesn't need new clients.

It doesn't get any better than Donna's!!!!. I've been trusting Donna w/ my hair since before she even opened her salon! There has never been a time that I left the salon disappointed! Donna is quick yet thorough- a perfectionist. Always honest, friendly, and hospitable. I enjoy every moment at Donna's- its a great treat for me, as well as free time from my children! Dona really devotes time to make a person feel beautiful and she puts forth all her effort with every client. I have never met anyone who can color/ highlight hair better than Dona! You can always tell if a person went to her by the way their hair looks! dona is educated in all the latest trends and styling techniques! A true master in her field- no doubt the best! my father even enjoys his haircut trips which is unusual because he'd much rather sleep or watch football! To anyone who is looking for someone to trust with transforming them in someone they never imagined they could be...Dona is that person...I guarantee with one visit- YOU'LL BE HOOKED!!!!!!

Excellent service and highlights!. First a confession: I have pretty much no stylist loyalty. I don't think I have gone to a stylist more than once in the past three years. I have been looking for someone to commit to, but haven't been able to find someone I like. I visited Dona yesterday and will definately be visiting her again!

So I have been wanting to go lighter for months, but haven't really got up the nerve to do it. I went to Dona's for a haircut and highlights, and I am so happy with the results. The color is lighter than I expected, but I love it! The color is flattering, bright, and just totally great. Dona cut my hair into a more flattering shape but kept the length like I asked, and she suggest products that actually work for my super tangle prone hair. I'll definately be going back.

Best hair cut of my life, and the people are friendly. Donas Hair Salon is the best place in Baltimore to get your hair cut or styled. The people are real friendly and the service is great. come there if you want your hair to look great.
