Tips for Crepe Du Jour

Poor Management. The food was good, but the service was a little slow. What really peeved me was that the manager/owner? was berating his staff in front of customers. It was highly unprofessional that the manager was yelling at the waitress because we wanted bread on the table and lemon in our water. Why should our waitress get yelled at because of our request? Didn't he have the gumption to confront me himself? My wife and I both found this quite offensive and probably will not dine there in the future because of this.

Good for special celebrations. The food is very good but a tad pricy. Great for special celebrations. Check out the deck in the back.

If You Like Horrible Service, This is the Place. We went to Crepe Du Jour for a special Mother's Day outing. We were pleased to find that it wasn't very crowded, then found out why. The food was good, but the service was horrible. The waiter told us about the specials, then left without taking our drink orders. We were seated about 10 minutes before the drink orders were finally taken. It seemed the waiter was not a very good "multi-tasker". Refills on drinks were nearly impossible to get. Another waitress brought our meals to us, and had no idea how to pronounce the food items, nor, was she sure what she had in her hands! It took forever to get our check! The waiter was busy with personal conversation at another table and we could not get his attention. Gratuity was added to our check, even though there were only 4 of us. I guess he figured he hadn't earned much of a tip so he had better figure it out for us!

Dry Crepes the Likes of Which You'd Never Find in France!. Went there for a birthday. What a disappointment! The crepe filling was irredeemably dry and old -- no sauce or cheese in sight. Quite a comedown after the marvelous crepes in France and even in Fort Lauderdale! Heard the owner was from northern Africa. Maybe these were Sahara crepes.
