Not horrible, not great. If only place close by, do take-out. Like most reviews, the experience was not as good or as bad as some previous comments. This DEFINITELY is not the best Indian in Baltimore, it was rather bland but all in all was OK. The place is definitely a little odd and on a Monday night was very empty (just one other couple dinning). My recommendation would be if your staying at a hotel nearby as we were get take-out, their website has a menu. If your able to drive or walk somewhere else, do it, this place is nothing special. I will say however the service was very good, it's too bad the decor and the food wasn't as good. Also portions were very reasonable for the price.

Lower end Indian food. The restaurant atmosphere was creepy, very quiet and we could hear everyone's conversations as the background music was very quiet. This is the typical Indian restaurant where the owners have no idea on how to run a business. I am an Indian, so no ethnic slant on this! The food was just plain bad. The spices tasted stale, the food had tough meat and dare I say BLAND. Its pretty hard to get bland Indian food. The fried products were very greasy and the fish tasted old. Sorry - just plain bad here!

Great food. In my opinion this is the most flavorful and delicious north Indian food in Baltimore. I also like the friendly mom & pop nature of this restaurant. I usually get take-out though because being in a rowhouse, the atmosphere can be a little claustraphobic. It's not unlike eating at someone's home (both in the atmosphere and the tastiness of the food.)

Best indian food around. Dude, I went to this place a week ago and the owner guy is the nicest man I ever met and this place is really good. Also, the food is really good so try this place out.
