Just wanted to write a quick post about how amazing Becca Murry at Phillip Michael Studio in Federal Hill is. Becca is great with hair cuts - she knows just the way to cut my hair and make me look 10 years younger. Becca is amazing with color - after one coloring she makes me a "natural" blonde. The studio itself makes you feel very welcome and comfortable - as does Becca. Give Becca one try and you will not regret - she will make you look and feel beautiful!!

This is a review is for Rebecca Murry. She is awesome and does an amazing job at listening to what you want and actually making it happen. I can't count how many salons and stylists I have been to over the years, and I have never gone back to the same person once, except for Rebecca. I have been coming here for almost two years now and am very glad I found a stylist that is so talented and has a great personality.

I had gone to the same stylist for 15 years, and had the most amazing relationship with him. Our conversations were simply, longer, shorter, lighter, darker and occasionally, "something new?". Horribly, 2 years or so ago he passed away, quite suddenly.

This left me in search of new stylist. I went to quite a few and one gave me absolutely awful haircut. The kind of thing that is difficult to fix. Obviously, I was skeptical to say the least, about letting someone I didn't know offer to "fix it". So I lived with the horrible issue just making minor improvements.

I recently relocated to Baltimore and had to start my stylist search over. I spent hours online reading comments just like the one I am writing before making the decision to schedule an appointment with Phillip.

He did an absolutely amazing job at easing my apprehension and ultimately fixing the cut. Phillip took the time and instilled a confidence with me.

I would definitely recommend him!

I found my way back to this salon after being gone far too long. I had previously gone to another salon due to a move and was just not happy with the outcome of my "highlights" and my "layers".

Phil was my stylist and took my less than technical description of what I wanted and turned it into a vision without me feeling lost or overwhelmed. My too thin, too blond highlights were turned into a gorgeous warm brunette color (and somehow with new amazing highlights!) and my cut is unlike any other I have had. I have a full head of straight, fine hair and he miraculously manipulated it to have body, depth, and texture...and yet somehow it looks so natural!

Best part? Excellent customer service. I did have a small wait (15-20 min) which I agreed to in order to help out another client in a crunch and I was kindly compensated for my time. In addition, I had left the salon forgetting that I wanted my eyebrows shaped and with one quick call they had my back in the seat and back out of the salon in under 5 minutes with great brows (and mine are not well behaved!).

Overall, great experience, great color, great cut, great customer service. What are you waiting for?!

I've started getting my hair done by Mary Blomme at Phillip Michael studio after getting my hair done by the same hair stylist for almost 10 years. Needless to say, I had some anxiety about changing stylists. Well, let me tell you, Mary made the whole transition as painless as possible and she did such an amazing job with my cut and color, I haven't looked back. Every time I have left Mary's chair, I've felt nothing short of fabulous. She does a superb job with highlights and color and is meticulous applying foils. I was also super happy with the cut she gave me, my long layers have never looked better. I am super picky about my hair and color and I would recommend Mary without hesitation, she really takes the time to make you look great and for a good value as well. Go see Mary and you will not be disappointed!

Go to Rebecca Murry! I have known Becca since we were in elementary school and I now refuse to go to any other stylist. Becca knows exactly what color and cut will work for you. She doesn't rush and wants everything to be perfect! She is an awesome person and stylist and I will continue to return to receive her services. I would recommend Becca to anyone and encourage everyone to make an appointment with her today!!

I had the pleasure of having Becca as my hair stylist for my wedding. From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel comfortable in my ideas but even moreso in her ability and her suggestions. The trial went so well - she was so easy to work with and gave me exactly what I wanted that I couldn't exactly verbalize to her. On the day of my wedding, she showed up right on time, was so efficient with my bridesmaids and I, and recreated my look perfectly (actually better - even though I didn't think that was possible!). Thank you, Becca, for giving me 100% confidence in you and making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!!

Best Stylist in Baltimore....... I have been been to a ridicules amount of stylists over the years and have never found one I wanted to return to until I met Becca at Michael Phillips. The first time I went she gave me suggestions for my long hair, and the results turned out awesome. I've never had a stylist before that I trusted to just take control of my hair with what they thought would be best, but whatever Becca suggests, I know will turn out better than I could ever imagine. She suggested color ideas for my next appointment and I cant wait to see what the results will look like. I will continue to recommend her to everyone I know.

I travel over an hour to see Becca!. Before coming to Becca at Phillip Michael I jumped around from stylist to stylist. I couldn't be happier with Becca. She's fantastic, listens to what I want and I walk away satisfied each and every time! She's professional but personable at the same time. The studio is welcoming, friendly and fun. I would recommend Becca to anyone!!

Happy Customer. I have depended on Phillip to highlight and cut my hair for the past five years. Not only do my highlights always look natural, but the cut is always flattering. Phillip takes extra time to ensure that my hair looks perfect before I leave. While my hair is the primary reason for visiting Phillip, I have to say that he is also easy to talk to and kind. On at least three occasions, I have been in the chair when strangers have come in pleading for Phillip to fix mistakes that other stylists have made. Needless to say, they leave his studio filled with gratitude- and so do I.
