Once Was Great.
This use to be the best Club in B-More. Now its a thug wantabe hang out. The last time I was there
before my last experience was back in 2004. Everything was fresh, clean, fun, people dressed to impress, and it didnt have 100 men standing along the dance floor blocking those who wanted to dance. Now this place has gone down hill big time. You know youre not in the right place when you get padded down at the door. Then when you look at the floors and furniture theyre dirty, stained, and burn marks everywhere. The music and bass was so loud you couldnt even hear on the bottom level. I wont be back to the club unless I hear theyve changed management and go back to how they were when the place opened.
Four floors totaling 22,000 square feet provide Baltimore's nightclubbing crowd plenty of space to experience the four elements..
In Short
On Earth--the club's first floor--teak walls, coal-black sofas and multiple terrariums keep the mood firmly grounded. Up glass stairs, Water features swimming murals in portholes above blue couches and white marble tables. Further up, Fire's oversized light boxes set sequined walls (and dance floor) ablaze. Topping it all is Air, where VIP revelers party amid Italian furnishings in a veritable hall of mirrors. Upstairs and downstairs, renowned DJs mix hip-hop, electronica and reggae.
My FAVE Spot!!!. Club One is my favorite place to dance in Baltimore. My friend and I made it a point to go every Sunday night and try out all their different themed nights...Salsa Uno, Steam, etc. There's always someone in the VIP lounge that is famous...from Ravens players to Terps basketball players to MTV people. You can go with your friends, your boyfriend/girlfirend or even alone!! Everyone has a great time at One!!! Just go...you'll understand!!!
