In Short – At first glance, the long mahogany bar suggests every other bar in Federal Hill. A closer look reveals a classier crowd: 20-somethings sprawl along low, brown leather banquettes with plush oversized pillows at their backs. Upstairs is a different vibe: it's dancing only, as 21st century hipsters groove to live DJs spinning ambient, acid jazz and trip-hop beats. Continuing the Baltimore trend of providing lick-the-plate good bar fare: Spanish-influenced tapas and seafood-filled paella make for perfect after work snacks.

Great Music & Atmosphere!

It was my cousins 21st birthday...I'm from Buffalo...I have no idea what the hot locations are in Baltimore...We got in a limo...and the limo driver pulled near Sky Lounge to drop us off...everyone suggested a lame top-40 bar (which will remain un-named...haha)...I said let's check this place out (pointing to Sky Lounge) They all rolled their eyes but eventually agreed. We walked in and we're immediatley intrigued by the atmosphere. Upscale with a great vibe. I love the lighting & seating as well. Upstairs was the best part. We were all dancing and having a good time.
I still talk about our time there...and that was back in September!

Sky is one of the best places in Baltimore

I love sky lounge! My friends and I go there every friday night to have great drinks and hang out with friends. I've loved it from the first moment I walked in there. My friend is a DJ there and he invited me to see him. Since then, I've gotten to know the owners, who also tend bar time to time, and there wonderful, friendly staff! Sky is very high class and definately a cut above the rest! oh, and my advise is if you go get valet.
- Pros: friendly bartenders, great drinks, good crowd
- Cons: hard to find parking, can get crowded

When to Go:
Groove to internationally famous DJs after 10pm Thursday through Sunday. Pull up a barstool between 5:30pm and 7:30pm to sample happy hour specials.
