In Short – Located in a three-story brownstone with cathedral ceilings, large storefront windows, exposed brick and ductwork, the uber-hip XS subscribes to the philosophy that a vast array of culinary choices attracts a vast array of customers. Diners, sitting at cherry wood tables, sample everything from Belgian waffles to a spicy tuna roll while sipping Sunamis (Malibu rum, melon liqueur and pineapple juice) or French roast lattes. Other offerings include paninis, wraps, sandwiches, omelets, sashimi and tempura.

XS is the Spot to be!
by egreer at Citysearch
Let me say, this is the most trendy, most hip, and upscale everything restaurant that I have ever encountered. I was looking for utopia and found it at XS. From breakfast to sushi to dessert to espresso. You will find everything here. Is it a bar? Is it a resaturant? Is it vegeterian? Is it intenational? Is it American? To answer: it is everything!! It is a hot spot to grab some friends after a movie or a show or just because. It's a place with good service, good ambiance and great food. Who could want more? Not me because I've found the spot to be.
- Pros: Trendy & Chic, Inexpensive, Variety of food
