Best wings in Federal Hill!. Perfect place to go before any O's or Raven's game!! Best wings I've had in the area and good drink specials!! Good looking people looking to have a good time... No matter if every other place is dead on the weekend, you know this place will have a nice crowd. It covers everything from a sports pub to a trendy singles place to a hot dance scene at night!

great time. I hang out at the Philly Mad River all the time so on a recent trip to Baltimore we decided to check out this location. We were not disapointed. This place is a great time in any city. It was packed with hot girls and the music was great.

The Best Saturday Night Party in Fed Hill. waited in line (long) with friends. Once in the atmosphere was nothing that I have seen in a while. Hot looking people and bartenders. The music was jamming and the DJ was insane. I definately recommend this place

In the heart of Federal Hill, this bank-turned-bar-and-restaurant attracts city singles looking for cozy atmosphere and comfort food.. In Short
With its lodge-like setting, this rustic bi-level tavern brings back memories of skiing and fishing trips. But the wood flooring and matching paneling can be deceiving; the clientele isn't necessarily the outdoorsy kind. Young professionals chow down on comfort food or swill cocktails while watching flat-screen TVs.

Meat market. So, as 20-something neighbor who likes to party, I was very excited when Boomerang's became Mad River. I am no longer. This bar, that would like to think it's a club in NYC or South Beach, is always crowded with long lines and a ridiculous admission policy - girls can go in, guys have to wait. Hello!!!! This is Federal Hill. Bypass this place on Friday and Saturday nights if you enjoy breathing. To be fair, it is a good place to go other nights of the week.

Great Happy Hour. I came to happy hour a few times recently and it's the best in Fed Hill, very upbeat and fun. It's crowded but not too packed by 7pm and it's a great deal, the perfect way to start a Firday night.

thank goodness. Thank God for Mad River, this place is the best thing to happen to Baltimore nightlife in quite some time. The atmosphere is fantastic and although crowded on the weekends, people are looking to get in for a reason. I brought visitors all around Federal Hill one evening and it was unanimously agreed that this bar was the best of the bunch. Great weekday specials, happy hours, party room & (in case you didn't know) their sweet potato fries are to die for. Highly recommended for B'more's young professionals!

Good Times. I had a great time at this bar, the most fun I've had in a long time. So good, I went back the next night. they had great food and the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I met tons of people there and the bartenders were hot.

nothing fancy. It's ok, food was so so. Service was very slow, I stood in line to find a not very full bar and still waited a long time for a bud light.
