In Short – Feel like watching a movie while munching a brick-oven pizza? Do it in style at Copra's, which offers favorites like meatloaf, chili, pizzas and crab cakes, often with a twist. (The crab cakes are flavored with curry, the meatloaf is glazed with a tomato marmalade.) While upstairs is a traditional dining room and bar, downstairs is home to the lounge, with comfy couches, coffee tables, four plasma televisions and a fireplace.

Best Shrimp Bisque ever

I am often disappointed when I order Shrimp and/or Lobster Bisque, but Copra's chef nailed it - nice roux, lots of butter, and just the right amount of sherry. Best Shrimp Bisque I've ever had! My Meatloaf had a lovely gravy, and accompanying Mac n Cheese was pleasantly crisp on the top and bottom - not what I anticipated, but very good. My husband's entree - the Pizza du Jour - was Steak Pizza (topped with Filet Mignon tips and red onions). A little weird, don't think I would order that again. Love the decor with lots of wood, candles, and stone accents. I felt like I was in NYC, but much more affordable.

When to Go:
Each night has a different theme. On Tuesdays, mob movies are shown and spaghetti and meatballs are discounted. Thursdays are half-price pizza night and Fridays have a "Catholic guilt happy hour," with half-price fish and chips. Saturday nights feature jazz.
