Puke time, man!. File Red Star under "dining devestation". How anyone can screw up a simple grilled cheese sandwich is beyond me. It was awful! Puke time, man! Bottom line, you should only go here to drink. They have Fordham Beers on draught there which are amazing local brews. Drink a lot of them and you won't even care about the shiesty service. They better get their act together or at least change their name to the more appropriate "death star". That's because if you attempt to have a decent meal here, you will want to die.

Aweful service, less than mediocre food. The service is awful. The food takes forever to make it to the table. The food is not consistent and the management doesn't really mind about any of these issues. They are not concerned that you have an enjoyable dining experience.

bad food, cheated us on tip. extremely bad food service. plus they cheated us by charging us three times more tip. I had signed $5, but they charged my credit card $11 tip. called them several times but there was no response.

food was awful. we had to throw half of the things we had ordered.

only plus is the decor...high celiengs....lcd panels....free parking but nothing else

Top notch burger. I have only been here a couple of times and had drinks both times which were good and the service was fine. I did order a burger there with an over easy egg on top and it was awesome. Highly recommended. All of the people in my party were pleased with their food.

yummy breakfast. Great brunch spot on the weekends! The breakfast burrito is my fav while my husband loves the eggs chesapeake. Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody marys - my Sunday hangover was gone in an instant! Goodlooking hip crowd to boot.

Very rude service and mediocre food.. As I see it, the only thing Red Star has going for it is the free parking. Like the previous reviewer, I found the staff rude and totally indifferent to our concerns.

The kitchen staff got our order wrong and the person who brought the food to our table all but dropped it and left...literally. When we said the order was incorrect the server simply said "Oh."

With the economy the way it is and restaurants closing left and right, Red Star better get on the stick or next month that location could be called something else!

We're never coming back.

the awful service ruined the good food experience. MY family and I went there for brunch on a recommendation-

There the bar tried to charge me double for a bloody mary because i ordered my refill "after the brunch hours were over". When I pointed this out, they said it was clearly stated on the menu (which it wasn't- we were only given a single paper with the brunch specials). They spoke to me in an extremely condescending tone.

Finally they agreed to take it off, but not without a bunch of fuss and bickering all while I was still standing there.

It was unfortunate, as the food was pretty good, but the awful service and rudeness left me never wanting to go back.
