In Short – Richness and warmth radiate from the plush leather seating and mahogany trim. Whether patrons prefer the filet mignon or a 24-ounce porterhouse, the dry-aged beef is guaranteed to please and is the cornerstone of a menu that also features hand-cut chops and fresh seafood. With hundreds of selections, the wine list is also impressive.

This Place Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by MooGoo at Citysearch

Sat at the bar and someone else paid, so I can't comment on the prices or the waiters. Everything we had was top shelf and the drinks were great and the bar service friendly. Crumby location in the bottom of a building on Pratt Street. You can valet your car, so parking isn't an issue.

  • Pros: Great Food
  • Cons: Terrible location

Poor service!

by broz317 at Citysearch

My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary, the seating was prompt, and the food was very good, however the service was terrible! Our waiter was not knowledgeable of the wine menu at all, we asked him what he recommended on the wine menu, and he stated that "we have it all". We waited approx 45 minutes for our steaks, which were good! We were so disappointed that we did not even stay for desert. The waiter made it seem like it was a chore for him to service us! This was not our first time at a higher end steak house, we normally frequent three to four different steak houses every year, we know what to expect service wise, and this place did not live up to our standards! Prime Rib, Mortons, and Ruth Cris are are all better service wise, IMO!

  • Pros: Food
  • Cons: The only thing they truly can offer - SERVICE!

Beautiful dining

by TeanieM at Citysearch

Three of my fellow support staff members and I had a Christmas lunch at this restaurant. We were treated like queens from entry to departure. The food was really good and the service was wonderful. They had no problems when we asked if we could change our table because we were at the window and the sun made one of the ladies a little ill. They moved us promptly. I recommend you treat yourself to the Capital Grille. You will not be sorry.
