Great view of the Harbor, good live music on Friday night...yummy crab dip and hummus.
Tir Na Nog is the best place to watch
the matches at; the whole bar is filled with a family of real fans - all shouting at each other, most from England, and shouting at the huge projector screen.
Ok, so not a soccer fan? Outdoor bar in the summer. Enough said. Um...crab legs, HUGE beers (serious - these glasses are cartoon gigantic) and boys with the cutest accents!
I really enjoy this bar. It is always loud and crazy and a good time. Cheap beer.
I can always count on Tir Na Nog to provide excellent food at reasonable prices.
We had a nice table with a view of the harbor. Our waitress came over almost immediately and took our drink order. While she was getting our drinks, a different server asked if anyone helped us. Drinks came and we placed out food order. Our server seemed indifferent at best and just had no personality. Drinks were good, fish and chips were as well. Nice place
No matter where we go in Center City, we ALWAYS end the night at Tir Na Nog. I'm giving this place 5 stars based on the atmosphere and the service. It's a great irish bar where even the bar tenders have an irish accent. Great beer selection and Mike is the best bartender, always takes great care of us and remembered us even after our second time there! The food is good..it's good bar food. Dark wood decor and many TV's. Love it.
Tir Na Nog Bar and Grill. We have been here 3 times and each time the food is better. Wonderful food, wonderful staff, wonderful chef, and great prices!.
Very tasty lunch. Very good service. Great view of the harbor when eating outside! I recommend!
The food is tasty and filling. Good portion sizes. Great choices for my three teenage sons. The patio is the best part. I love the view of the inner harbor. Wait staff are friendly and competent.
For tourists, locals beware!.
We happened to find ourselves at Harbor Place and needed to duck in somewhere to grab a bite for lunch. Unlike most of the other restaurants at Harbor Place, there were no wait at Tir Na Nog. This should have been our first clue that we were in for it.
The menu is uninspired quasi-Irish food. It's way overpriced considering what you got. I ordered bangers and mash. The sausage was nothing more than regular breakfast sausage and the gravy can straight out of a can. There were some oversauteed greens on top of instant mashed potatoes with some shredded cabbage which was being passed off as colcannon. My husband got a corned beef sandwich and wilted fries.
We will never go back here!
