DELICIOSO!.
A friend who has gone to this restaurant several time took me. He warned me that there might be a long line but it'll be absolutely worth it. Thankfully for us, there was only a short line. The menu looks very simple but they are absolutely masters at what they do. I had the chicken meal with two sides. My sides were chicken fried rice and plantains. They are delicious! The plantains was slightly charred so that added a great chewy texture to the sweet syrupy flavor brought out by the grilling. The fried rice has large chunks of chicken. The rice was completely infused with the chicken, not just topped. The most impressive thing was seeing the chicken roaster. It's HUGE! You can tell that they are dedicated to making their specialized menu and it shows in the food. I got a huge portion for the price of a burrito bowl at Chipotle. I will definitely make another stop next time I'm n the neighborhood.

tastey eats - cheap!.
This is not a tableservice restaurant, you stand in line and tell them what you want on your tray. The main thing here is of course, chicken. Delicious, herb seasoned, rotisserie chicken by the 1/4, 1/2, or whole, for here or to go. The meat is always moist, and falls right off the bone, while the skin is a crisp treat. Depending on the amount of chicken you order you will choose 2-3 sides. There are several selections ranging from fries and cole slaw to tripe soup, plantains, and yucca. You can also opt for red beans, plain or fried rice, and they even offer a salad of shredded lettuce & red cabbage - although I don't think they offer a dressing. While their business is rotisserie, you are not limited to the aforementioned menu. They have a few sandwiches, a very satisfying burrito ( which takes MUCH longer than ordering chicken - your partner will be finished eating by the time you get it), and specials of the day. There are usually three specials offered daily which sometimes vary, though pescado frito seems permanently on the specials list. You might get lucky and find papas a la huancaina on the list one day - order it. This is a dish of cold boiled potatoes, in a creamy, cheesy, sauce with a little spice. By the register are a few sweets if you feel inclined, cookies, mini-tarts, etc. I tried an unusual dessert that looked like purple jelly made of corn and dried fruit, which reminded me a little of cranberry sauce, -was it the cinnamon?
