Canton Dockside contains to be one of the best places in Baltimore for Crabs and Outside Dining. I have never left unsatisfied or filled with crabs in my tummy. This is a great casual restaurant for adults and families at a great location.

I feel like canton dockside is the best crab place ever, their food is very soft and tasty. In our experience in canton dockside was great the staff very nice and respectful (never is too pushy to ask if we were ok in our table). Thanks for being very attentive with us!

My family and I came in for a great dinner celebrating my sisters birthday, we called in on time to make a huge reservation and I did notice the day we went in where short on staff but they were able to manage everything under control. Sat us down quietly and asked for what drinks we would like. I am surprise to see how well they handled everything from the first moment we sat down to leaving the dockside! Thank you for the great hospitality in your restaurant. Definitely will return here.

Lovely place to come and have great sea food, they can have possibly have anything you like. I come here with friends and let me tell you there has never been times were I’ve had a bad experience! Thanks for the great service too.

Great Crabs but Ridiculous Added-On 18% Tip. We recently went to Canton Dockside expressly to get steamed crabs. There were just two of us. We barely looked at the menu they gave us since we knew we wanted crabs. We just looked to make sure they had corn on the cob which they did. We ordered corn when we ordered the crabs.

I wasn't impressed with the server from the start. She was not knowledgeable about the menu and was very forgetful. We got extra large crabs that were a good size and heavy. That's the good part. When she brought the crabs, we reminded her about the corn and said make it two cobs. She came back to say that they had no corn on the cob. Remember we ordered the corn with the crabs 20 minutes ago!

Anyway, when we got the bill there was an automatic 18% tip charge added. For a party of two? I could see that at a restaurant in a bad neighborhood that might have bad tippers but not in an affulent waterside community. If the 18% gratuity was mentioned somewhere on the menu, we wouldn't have seen it because we just skimmed the menu knowing we were having crabs. Also, when having crabs, you're doing most of the work of cleaning up your table and putting your shells into a bucket yourself. THIS SERVER DID NOT DESERVE AN AUTOMATIC 18% TIP! WE WON'T BE GOING BACK THERE UNTIL THAT POLICY HAS CHANGED NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE CRABS ARE!

Great food!. I thought this place was great - we had the best crabs here and we have eaten a lot of steamed crabs since moving to Baltimore a few years ago. Service was great as well and there was live music on Saturday night when we went. I took my out of town guests and they love it.

They Add 18% Gratuity For Crappy Service/ Food. I'm not paying an automatic 18% gratuity for crappy food, and crappy service again. They s****.
