Awesome Salon. I just moved to Annapolis in Dec 2010, from the Virginia Beach area. From the moment I got here, I was on the hunt for a great salon. After getting desperate I tried Bubbles Salon in the mall, yes it was cheaper but got the worst hair cut ever. Hudson & Fouquest was recommended by a friend. I called and made an appointment for the next day. From the moment I walked into the salon, I just knew I would love it. Nicole did an outstanding job on my hair. I also had color done at my first visit and once again, she did a great job! I will say that the prices are about $20 dollars higher than what I paid in VA, but I found out the hard way that cheaper is NOT always better. I spent twice as much cause I went to a cheaper salon first.

Great cut and color. Decided I wanted to try a new stylist and while I was happy with my current stylist I just wanted something different. Really love my cut and color!! Marta did a great job! I'll be going back.

Friendly salon with GREAT stylists!. I am extremely happy with Hudson & Fouquet. I have been a client since 2004. They had me as a loyal client ever since I called to beg for someone to style my hair at 8am for a television appearance. The owners opened up personally for me (without ever meeting me) to style my hair and make it perfect for tv.

If you want the blowout of a lifetime, get Luc Fouquet to do a blow out. You will look like a movie star. He is amazing. He also does the best cut you will ever get. Amazing.

The front desk staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a drink, hang your coat and to make you feel welcome.

They expanded their salon by transforming the next door building into a mini-salon. I love going over there it is so quiet. I'm not telling you the name of my stylist because I do not want her booked up and then I cannot get in with her. LOL They are all GREAT.

They also offer the Keratin treatment which I love.

A wonderfully upscale salon in Annapolis indeed.

Great salon with something for everyone!. I have been a very happy customer of Hudson & Fouquet since they opened. I have always been very pleased with the service and the attentiveness of ALL of the staff. The manager and front desk ladies know me by name, and that says a lot about their customer service. From the second you step into the door the staff makes you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is sleek and clean, and the music is subtly hip and relaxing. The stylists are always very careful to be clear on what you are looking for and aim for perfection. I have always been very pleased with my cut and color, and if I was not, I know I could go back without having to feel like I am imposing. They are very clear about their service guarantee. The talent at this salon is often saved for a larger city, but at Hudson & Fouquet there is a stylist for the traditional, the edgy and for those somewhere in the middle.

not impressed. I visited Hudson and Fouquet twice and won't go back, unfortunately. I say unfortunately because I was very excited to try the salon after reading about it in the Best of issue of Baltimore magazine.

I won't say who my stylist was, but although his cut was good I was less than impressed with the way he styled my hair. Not what I expected from an upscale salon. He did not listen to my either visit on how I wanted my hair styled, instead just styled it how he wanted to, which was blah and I proceeded to go home to wash and re-style.

Front desk girls were obnoxious and rude on both occassions and the atmosphere in general was not great.

Their motto is every customer leaves happy or they get a free visit (which I probably would not have taken), but when I complained I was only met with an apology.

Paying upwards of $100 I expect to LOVE my cut and style and the atmosphere I am spending an hour in...

eh....... Let me just say i went in here with a friend and i was not impressed by any stretch. I am used to going to Higher end salons, so the price didn't bother me at all. I had several problems but my biggest issue was how ridiculously cramped this place was. There was a wait for the shampoo bowl, at least 10-15mintues(and thats giving them slack) and barely anywhere to sit while waiting. As well the stylists had to physically keep moving in the middle of haircuts so as to let other people get by. It was so loud because there were so many people in one area you had to literally shout to talk to your stylist. Not remotely relaxing. The shampoo area is so cramped I had to tuck my feet in every time some one walked by. its crazy. Also something else that my girlfriend and i talked about when we left was how conservative our experience was, not at all the fashion forward creativity you want to see in a salon. all and all it was not at all what i had hoped for.

Been back since and good but not amazing. Came once before and had a great experience, second experience was not as great but still good enough for annapolis.
