DON'T DO IT!!!!. i usually give good reviews to most restaurants, but in this case, i just can't do it. the food was terrible, really terrible. i ordered the shrimp tacos, and the shrimp was almost raw it was so undercooked, and it was incredibly fishy tasting, which is odd for shrimp. my girlfriend ordered a portabello and veggie burrito, which contained no portabello mushrooms and was not tasty at all. upon ordering, my girlfriend was told by the server (and the menu) that her burrito contained beans, and when we recieved it and it did not, she brought us a side of beans, which she added to our bill, even though it was her mistake. so to sum up, zen west has awful food and servers that lack common sense....don't go here.

Real good food- terrific atmosphere. Everything seems to be made fresh and on site. Chile is awesome with great chunks of marinated beef. Tasty ribs smoked at the restaurant and intersesting and flavorful appetizers. Home made guacamole. We've eaten there at least 7 times and always enjoyed the food. Not your conventional tex mex place.
