Maybe if I wasn't diabetic and kept antiseptic in my purse

There I am hanging out under the dryer after my mani-pedi..............hey, why is my foot wet?
I look down to see fresh blood running off my toe.20 min later the blood stops & the fellow at the desk expected me to pay for the service.
Bad, bad, very bad customer service and cuticle nipping.

can be very misleading. The decor inside is excellent, so that you don't feel as though you're in a nail salon, more like someone's upscale living room. At first I let this fool me into thinking that I was getting great service. Big mistake.
The manicures I received here lasted 3 days at best, probably less. As many other people have said, you feel rushed and as if you are some sort of burden. Even though....it's their job...?
And finally, the reason I would never go back. The last time I was in there for a pedicure, the woman who was doing my toenails started pointing and laughing at my feet, calling other manicurists to come over and look at them. I'm a dancer, so I understand my feet aren't in the best condition, but that was above and beyond rude. It was so obvious that she was calling attention to my feet that other customers were giving me sympathy looks. Totally unprofessional.
If I could give negative stars, I would

Worst nail salon experience ever. Twice. I was hoping that the first experience was a fluke...unfortunately I was correct off the bat. Awful. Horrible. Dirty.
About 2 weeks ago I had made an appointment for a 2pm gel manicure and pedicure. The point here is that I made an appointment. When I was finally seated to have my manicure, it was after 3pm, over an hour past my scheduled time. Least of my worrries as it turned out.
My manicure came and went, it took nearly an hour and was not done correctly. The gel I like to get is supposed to lat 3 weeks, it chipped immediately and lost it's shine within 2 days. :(
Pedicure time. After being so stressed out by my experience, all I wanted was a nice pedicure to make me feel better. Ewww. I decuded to have my feet razored that afternoon, against my better judgement. 2 minutes after my feet were sliced up, a girl 2 pedi chairs down from me had the same razor, NOT SANITIZED, used on her feet. Gross. Grosser than gross.
I thought that after 2 weeks I would be less disgusted by teh service and treatment at the nail salon, alas, I am still horrified. I warn you to NEVER go here...I am grateful that I didn't get anything funky from the salon, they clearly don't take any precautions or sanitizing measures.
I was better off spending the money at Fogo for lunch

Went here for a fill and nail repair. I got nipped 3 or 4 times and when I said ouch there was no apology. They were rough and there was no having a conversation. When someone came in for a wax there was no indication that I'd be transferred to another person -- I just was. No hand massage before getting polish put on. Am looking for a salon to go to during lunch -- guess I'm still looking!
I've come here two or three times because it's convenient

but it seems that I'm always disappointed soon after. Everything is usually fine within a couple of hours of the mani/pedi and then it all goes to pot.
If I go swimming two days after, half my pedi mysteriously disappears in the pool.
I will also warn that this is NOT the place to get a gel manicure. They only do Shellac, which is FINE, but they have very few colors, and even when they did have O.P.I. Axxium, they were not skilled in applying the gel. If I'm getting an expensive mani, plus tip, it damn well better not chip two days.
