Worst company I've ever worked for..
These are no exaggerations. I think it's important to relay this to potential employees and customers of PBG HdG. Honestly, you're better off at McDonald's, horrible though it may be, than working for these guys in their warehouse.
Consider that the warehouse is run by the reject ex-addict son of the family, and the theme of his life is overcompensation. He uses the employees under him basically as punching bags. He's soulless and totally incompetent. He was hooked up with his sweet job, the company makes more than a million dollars per employee, and the warehouse workers I worked with who had been there for YEARS had gotten maybe, if they were really lucky and/or kept their mouth shut and/or submitted entirely, a dollar and a half raise over the $8 they started at. They withheld what they claimed were guaranteed 3- and 6-month raises because they "forgot to file the paperwork." They forgot every single person's payraise. So Jason and Coop (the day manager) are both either wildly incompetent or malicious, and I'll go with malicious because one of the two of them actually stole my cell phone. Yes, I know this for certain.
You're expected to do two or three peoples' worth of work, and they basically rob you and verbally degrade you for fun all the while.
I want to make potential customers aware of their business practices. I realize you may not have a choice because the product needs to be on the shelf, but you should scrutinize where you stuff comes from. And if you're a potential employee, don't take any crap from these guys OR the few lift drivers/pallet builders who are in a hurry to lie, cheat and steal in order to please Jason and Coop in the hopes of a promotion that will, inevitably, never come.
