AWFUL. AWFUL customer service,try Two Boots instead.

Have now had 2 bad experiences in a row. (1) ordered pizza and paid for it with Master Card, they delivered the WRONG pizza and refused to refund my money (called manager several times over the next week, finally had to get refund from my credit card company). (2) ordered pizza at 7pm and it was delivered at 9:15pm (after one hour I called them several times and they repeatedly LIED to me about the delivery).

Used to be my favorite place - Then it was sold. In the past few months that I have ordered from Zellas, I keep saying I will give them one more chance. Well, NO MORE! I ordered food online which was never delivered. After an hour late, I called & was told the driver called out earlier that day. I asked if the manager was working, she said yes but ofcourse the manager was unavailable. A week later I noticed the order was charged through to my bank account which caused another check to bounce. I have called Zellas & spoken to managers twice now & still have not had a call back from the owners regarding my refund. The old owners would NEVER have let this happen!

my experience with zella's. this was my first time to zella's i googled sunday happy hours and there happy sounded good to my ears.. even though when i got there i learned they were recently under new management and the waitress was not familiar with making drinks everyone there was extremly nice and socaiable... my food was good and the drinks were as good as we instructed her to make them lol... even though i have been to places that were much more organized then zellas i saw no reason to not return.. i wish them much success in rebuilding =)

What happened.... My last experience was not a pleasant one...TRUST ME!! Now that I've read some of the reviews, I see others have had the same experience that I had. I can remember when the old owners opened up this place. I mean the service was excellent. My experience was so great that I took some of the menus to my job (local hospital). Boy did their business blossom. I remember signing a petition for them to also get a liquor license as well. It saddens me to know that they're under new management. Well back to my review... I used to love the Spinach Artichoke calzone, Druidzilla chix, fresh salad, & wings. These were all great dishes but now...OMG! The delivery took about 2 hrs, food was cold & burnt. What more can I say? I had no idea they were under new management. I could never place another order. That was it for me...

WORST SERVICE IN BALTIMORE. I Wish there was a star for NEGATIVE 1.... I ordered over $50 worth of food... an hour and a half later I called because it was not delivered and the owner said they had not put the order in yet... at this point I just asked them to cancel the order as we had been waiting so long. The owner said "well mistakes happen" and I stated that I understand that, being an operator of a business myself, but at this point we were not willing to wait another hour. She was VERY rude and wanted to know how i knew there was confirmation that I had paid for the food. I told her that I was looking at my bank account which had already been deducted and she acted like she didn't believe me! Are you kidding me? What awful customer service! Then she reluctantly said she would deliver a check to me to reimburse me (which took a while because she truly didn't know what to do when I stated that I wanted a refund). All of a sudden, 2 HOURS LATER, the delivery guy from Zellas shows up with NO check and the food we had ordered 2 hours ago and cancelled. We then called back Zellas and the response was that the OWNER, neglected to tell the staff that they were refunding me... not sure if I would have ever received it truthfully. She didn't apologize, and at this point out of frustration I stated that unfortunately the customer service has declined tremendously and we would not be ordering from there again. She snipped "well that's your right" and I stated that I would let others know about this as well. her response, FROM THE OWNER NO LESS, was "If you want to be the Devil, go ahead" and then she hung up on me....WOW... That's all I have to say....

Worst Pizza place in Baltimore. Zella's used to be great, good food, good service. It recently changed owners. The new owners don't even know their own menu. The waitress was beyond rude, our order was all wrong and the food was burned. Won't go there again.

Abyssmal service. Food that doesn't make up for the service.. TERRIBLE. SERVICE. My food took a whopping two and a half hours to be delivered, was full of mistakes, and when I asked to be comped, I was told by the rude, ornery, defensive owner that the best he could offer me was 15% off of my next order. These guys have clearly never run a restaurant business before, and they are running it right into a shallow grave. Frankly, the food just isn't good enough to justify the horrible service. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere...Matthew's, Pub Dog, ANYWHERE else. This place sucks. Period, end-of-sentence.

Hidden Hot Spot. I love Zella's... It's my favorite place to eat, and I have introduced it to a ton of friends and acquaintances. Everyone that eats here is converted to a Zella's lover! The brick oven pizza is delicious. My favorite is the Spinach and Artichoke pizza. The owners are extremely courteous and the decor is cozy. Zella's definitely perfects the laid-back atmosphere! They don't have a great variety of desserts, but there is an AWESOME bakery/sweet shop down the street called Sweet Tooth. I'm absolutely in-love with Zella's!

Great neighborhood pizzeria.... custom made pizzas. I had them build a thin crust with fresh mozzerella and eggplant -- it was fabulous. The restaurant was very uplifting with big windows throughout and lively art.
