Used this company for bathroom remodel and it was nothing but headaches and problems with this company. No one speaks English first off. They play bait and switch with their costs. Asked for the owner muany times and was always told he was out of town. The work was sloppy and on top of it all,had to hire another contractor to repain walls,replace molding they tor up and threw away. They threw away a brand new shower head that I had paid $89. for and I had to go and buy a new one!

I've read the other reviews on this company and I have to say a few things. Yes the employees that I dealt with were all Russians and some spoke limited english. So what people, learn to communicate! I had my 80 year old front porch demolished and replaced along with extensive metal work to the ceiling of the porch. It is absolutely gorgeous! Benjamin was on time for the estimate and it came in on point even though they realized some more expensive metal was required once they got into the job. They didn't try to get more money from me for this. The crew was very nice and were extremely concerned with my happiness. I will give this company more of my business!

I'd like to recommend Handyman on Call services to anyone considering home repairs or improvements. Benjamin shows up on time, and delivers as promised. Even though he is willing to come in to finish chores you've started, save yourself some time and money by calling him FIRST. He can review the job, and help you choose the proper materials, saving unneccessary trips to the hardware store. I also appreciate Benjamin's follow-up (a rarity in the industry), and the fact that he stays within his scope of expertise (i.e. he won't say "yes" unless he's comfortable with the task). With prices that are highly competitive,there's just no excuse for not giving him a try!

I don't think I would go back to Handyman On Call LLC. I used this company to re-install a drapery rod in my home. I can't complain about the service, but the price was ridiculous. I want to say it cost a couple hundred bucks for like an hour of work. They charged me to make a trip to Home Depot (which is like 3 blocks from my house) to buy screws. In my opinion, a handyman should come prepared with essentials, like screws, anchors, nails, etc. They also upcharged me on the supplies. I don't think I'd go back. to Handyman On Call LLC.

Save your time & $. Well, when I had Ben come out to my house for an estimate I told him that I had a limited time to have the work done before moving in. He said he would call me back with a detailed estimate right away but never did. I called, left messages, emailed him for several days but there was no response at all. I was upset that he wasted my valuable time. Wish he just had told me he hadn't had time for my project. Do not call! Save your time.

Should check Citysearch reviews first!. One of the few times when I didn't check Citysearch Reviews before making a decision. I need to replace a shower head and after a quick Google search, I found Puget Sound Plumbing. My handyman had told me this would be about a $100-150 job so I was shocked when I received a $395 quote. However, given that I live in Fairfax VA and this is for my rental property in Baltimore, I didn't feel like I had a lot of options at that point. I later found out the entire job took less than 30 minutes and other plumbers have told me I was definitely "had" for that price. Lesson learned to always check with Citysearch Reviews first!

They do decent work, and they're only moderately expensive. *IF* you can get them to answer phone calls and show up.
Incredibly flaky people. Be prepared to lose a day or two sitting around waiting.
If I knew __anyone__ else who did decent handman work at a decent price I WOULD NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN.
Be prepared to call and call... and wait and wait.
And you might get lucky.
