Bad pizza. Terrible Manager! – My wife and I ordered a large white pizza and a large ceasar salad. Upon arriving home on this cold winters night we could taste something very wrong with this pizza. We werent sure if it was one of the several cheeses or the aoli sauce. We called and told them of the problem while ordering a sub and a calzone. On arrival the manager "aubrey" examined the pizza and assured us nothing was wrong. He said the cheese is shredded daily and it was "impossible " for it to be tainted. He then pointed out that the sauce was an "aoli" sauce that was mayonaise based and thats probably what we did not like and again there is nothing wrong with the pizza. Being cold and tired I did not respond at all to his ridiculous comments. FIrst of all I know what aoli is and what its comprised of. My wife and I dine out at least twice a week. We all know how fast mayo can spoil and how little it takes to contaminate any of the ingredients. If I tell you your pizza is bad its bad! Plan and simple. Making matters worse he waited for us to get back with the pizza before starting our new order. Being honest I know their pizza is mediocre at best. It can be a fast easy solution for dinner. From start to finish it took us two trips and an hour and a half to eat. The calzone and the sub were ok.
If the manager had reacted with common sense and the necessary apology I would not have reviewed. I should also note that he refunded a man his money as we stood at the counter. He had been waiting for a long while when the discovered they hadnt started his call ahead order.!! Terrible start to a weekend for both of us!
outsatnding pizza – We've been fans of Ledo's for over 45 years-since College Park days. we now go to the one in Hunt Valley. The pizza quality has been consistently outstanding! When we moved to Florida we were excited that one opened near us but unfortunately the sauce wasn't as good as here.Needs the Maryland touch! Now we are back and carry out at the Hunt Valley location weekly. Great friendly service but can be slow at lunchtime with the long lines so call ahead. Never had a better pizza anywhere! And you can buy the sauce-they will put fresh sauce in a jar for you!
GREAT FOOD – OUSTANDING FOOD AND SERVICE AT SUCH A REASONABLE PRICE. LEDO PIZZA IS "SQUARE AND THEY REALLY DO NOT CUT CORNERS." THE PIZZA IS THE BEST IN TOWN. MY KIDS LOVE TO EAT THERE. WE ALL LIKE NOT ONLY THE PIZZA -- THE SALADS ARE SO FRESH AND THEIR SUBS ARE STUFFED. THE PASTAS USE HOMEMADE SAUCES-SO GOOD. DON,T MISS OUT. GO SOON.
Eat Ledo Pizza! – Like another reviewer, I grew up across the street from the original Ledo Restaurant in Adelphi and now frequently visit the one near Ft. Meade. When my dad said pizza for dinner, we knew it would be from Ledo's. My parents have moved out of state and miss Ledo pizza so much that we have sent them pizza by FedEx (packed in dry ice of course)!
To the reviewer that griped about the price (which is comparable to delivery pizza) - If you do not try a Ledo pizza, you are missing out on one of life's pleasures.
Outrageous prices! – I walked in and walked right back out after I saw how much they wanted for a pizza. It is incredible! With all the other pizza places in the area (that don't rip you off), I know I'm not missing anything.
