I grew up in the Washington (25 yrs.), and have been away from the area for 20 years now, but I have never found another pizza that compares to Ledos. The ORIGINAL Ledos restaurant, in Adelphi, is now not in the greatest location, but I believe has the ORIGINAL, and superior pizza to the franchise chains that have since appeared in various, better locations. I remember having to wait in a line outside of the building for up to an hour to enjoy this treat. It's still worth it!

In my opinion Ledo's is the best pizza in this area! It's very unique, the sauce is sweet, I think the cheese is swiss instead of mozzerlla, the crust is thin, square and tastes more like a homemade dough than most. As another reviewer stated, all the toppings are cut thicker than most major chains. The other reviewer did not like the thick pepperoni, I on the other hand think the thick pepperoni tastes much better. It does tend to make the pizza greasey, this is no big deal just pat a papper towel or napkin on it to soak up the grease. The napkin trick is something everyone should do anyway in today's health conscious world. All in all, Ledo's Pizza is a top quality pizza made from the highest quality ingredients. Whether you love or hate it you must admit you can't find pizza like it anywhere else.

Ledo's is also in Rockville. It has great pizza that is great the first time around and equally good as leftovers. The sauce is different than other pizza, which makes it great! Also, it's all cut into squares so you can pick your favorite pieces with or without crust.
