Very Good Indian
by Krithik
We dont mind the drive though ..their food is just the best.reminds me of the nice Mumbai restaurants. They own one more next door called Mirchi Wok.
My son loves the dosas and I keep trying new things..the menu has so many choices, try the Jackfruit curry. it is yummy.
The lunch buffet is a great deal withso much varitey and the last time we even got Jalebis.
I wonder why some people have written sour things here.is it someone from the competition trying to be funny..?
We always have a good experience and keep going back for more.even if you are not a vegetarian, once you eat here, you'll crave for more
- Pros: Delicious and Healthy Indian food
- Cons: wish they had one in towson too
Good Veg RESTAURANT
by Rame67
We have been here many times and we just love it. The food here has a good combination of south and
north indian food. The staff here is very cordial and very prompt in service. We just love going there.
The worst indian restaurant in MD
by smmutalik
we went to this restaurant to have some different indian food taste...and mango grove didnt disappoint us. The food was so horrible that, we didnt eat any dish full...
we went to have buffet lunch...and here is what they served:
1) pani puri...puri they got it from somewhere and pani was as if lemon water
2) kachori....old oil smell
3) vada...it was as if fried in fish oil...very very bad taste
4) Some Gobi dish....full of color agents...so taste at all
5) rotis...they were ok...but we waited for 20 minutes to get 2 pieces of that.
6) Dosa...the first one was good...since we didnt like any other dish, we asked second time dosa..and this time..it was not bigger than palm size with quarter spoon of aloo sabji in it. The lady told us...they usually serve that way !
7) and now dessert part.....they kept Kesari bhath (made of suji)...and i can say Mcdonlad food was much better than that. It was soaked completely in oil...so, if that is ok...go ahead and eat.
and lastly...the plates they kept..they were not even washed properly...next time if still wnat to go there...please check the dish bottom ...
I recommed best veggi indian restaurant Madras palace, woodlands.
- Pros: none
- Cons: everything
