Delicious food, warm & friendly service. The new address is 8865 Stanford Blvd, Columbia ( one block south on dobbin from the previous location) Romantic new setting by the lake with huge open space and warm earthy colors. Food as always, very very tasty. Buffet is a delicious spread with great value at $ 11.
Great Indin Vegetarian Restaurant.
Mango Grove is my favourite indian vegeterian restaurant in Columbia. I was recommended by one of my relatives to go to Mango Grove and I was really pleased to the the same indian taste as that of India.
All the dishes that me and my family ordered were terrific. I especially liked the Nargissi Aloo and Palak Paneer from the entrees. Tikki Chana Chaat gave us the perfect start to get on with our dinner. I have also heard about their great lunch buffet and would like to be back again for the buffet.
My whole family enjoyed the dinner a lot and also the courteous service provided was excellent. Mango Grove really was like being in India and especially the food taste was out of the world. Great job Mango Grove. Keep it up.....
Horrible Service. I do not like the way the staff treats their customers. The prices are very high and the food is very oily. All I know all the americans are being ripped off with traditional indian food.
Had some spice and flavor unlike most Indian reastaurant in US which offer bland food.
Service was fine. Liked chicken varieties.
Very Good Indian.
We dont mind the drive though ..their food is just the best.reminds me of the nice Mumbai restaurants. They own one more next door called Mirchi Wok.
My son loves the dosas and I keep trying new things..the menu has so many choices, try the Jackfruit curry. it is yummy.
The lunch buffet is a great deal withso much varitey and the last time we even got Jalebis.
I wonder why some people have written sour things here.is it someone from the competition trying to be funny..?
We always have a good experience and keep going back for more.even if you are not a vegetarian, once you eat here, you'll crave for more
Good Veg RESTAURANT.
We have been here many times and we just love it. The food here has a good combination of south and
north indian food. The staff here is very cordial and very prompt in service. We just love going there.
The worst indian restaurant in MD.
we went to this restaurant to have some different indian food taste...and mango grove didnt disappoint us. The food was so horrible that, we didnt eat any dish full...
we went to have buffet lunch...and here is what they served:
1) pani puri...puri they got it from somewhere and pani was as if lemon water
2) kachori....old oil smell
3) vada...it was as if fried in fish oil...very very bad taste
4) Some Gobi dish....full of color agents...so taste at all
5) rotis...they were ok...but we waited for 20 minutes to get 2 pieces of that.
6) Dosa...the first one was good...since we didnt like any other dish, we asked second time dosa..and this time..it was not bigger than palm size with quarter spoon of aloo sabji in it. The lady told us...they usually serve that way !
7) and now dessert part.....they kept Kesari bhath (made of suji)...and i can say Mcdonlad food was much better than that. It was soaked completely in oil...so, if that is ok...go ahead and eat.
and lastly...the plates they kept..they were not even washed properly...next time if still wnat to go there...please check the dish bottom ...
I recommed best veggi indian restaurant Madras palace, woodlands.
best vegetarian food in md va and dc. mango grove is a very wonderful vegetarian resturant i ever saw in this area.food is very good especilly the appetizer tikki channa chat, taba panner tikka, and the paper masala dosa which is very unique,we enjoyed our trip in mango grove.the atmosphere was very very good.the server were very friendly. i don't know why some people are against mango grove. one should really visit mango grove. plan food to the rescue.
BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT -.
I am always pleased with the freshness and food quality that Mango Grove offers. I have praised this place in the past and will do it again!! On weekends they serve extra items on the buffet like Paani Poori, Channa poori, the mini dosas are always great...YUMMYYY they have large jumbo size Dosas once you order from the menu but with the huge buffet spread the small mini size dosas are a good way to sample everything.
I am sure someone from the competition is full of envy with the success of Mango Grove and they write some cheap reviews. See the Lunch buffet on weekends and you'll know for yourself....check out the crowd they attract all by word of mouth....I have never seen any advertisements for Mango Grove.
I like the party platter menu which is so reasonably priced...
Superb Vegan Cuisine. Mango Grove, has excellent service and the some of the Greatest Indian food. I personally recommend their Chana Masala. They have a wonderful friendly, respectful and inviting atmosphere. If you have not experienced this wonderful restaurant you are truly missing out.
