Best Sushi in Maryland. Period.. I have been to just about every Sushi restaurant in maryland and this is single handedly the best. I am not so confident in how accurate the review of "parasite" is, chances are local sushi restaurants trying to combat their competition i am sure. At any rate, my personal favorite is the explosion roll. This may not be an "authentic" ownership, but in my opinion, you cannot beat the service, price, and quality i have received. Flavor is exceptional and I have eaten here dozens of times. The girlfriend and I plan on eating here again tonight actually!

Parasite!. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE Sushi King. I go there all the time with my bf. A while back, we took our friends there and told them it was the best place ever. My friend ordered a big tray of raw fish. Suddenly he yelled out, "my fish is moving." At first we thought the fish was so fresh that it was moving...we were so wrong. We all looked closely at his fish and suddenly a parasite crawled out from the fish :( Oh my GOSH! We all stop eating and the lady owner came over. She was very apologetic. Any how, none of us has been back and I have not eaten sushi since! I know there are risks involve but I have NEVER have risks staring back at me.

And last month I was watching "Monster Inside Me" by the Animal Planet. It showed the same parasite that I saw at Sushi King!!! It is very harmful if you eat it so please please please be careful!!!!

Best Sushi Restaurant!. Best sushi place in MD.!

Obviously the other user does not know how to eat sushi and he seems like to leave negative comments on every high rating profiles.

Sushi King always serves fresh fishes! Don't listen to him :)

poor smell... poor sushi. Not an authentic Japanese restaurant. It is owned and ran by chinese owner..

If you're the type that thinks panda express is chinese food, taco bell is mexican food, and pizza hut is italian food, then, you'll love the sushi-king.

Pro: average rolls

Cons: miso soup tasted like sweet sugar soup. Sushi (tuna, salmon, red snapper) poor smell... Did not like it. The sushi rice wasn't prepared correctly... I would not take my japanese friends to this joint...

Great Specialty Rolls. This is the best sushi that I have had! Try the Vegetarian Delight roll if you do not want fish - it has sweet potato tempura in it and is delicious! The seaweed salad is just right - never too much dressing. The miso soup is yummy too. I have never had bad food or bad service here and travel here from Baltimore with another sushi-loving friend because it is so good. Parking is super-easy. Service is prompt. Like everything in Columbia, it can be hard to find. It is right by the MVA.

Excellent sushi! Amazing Restaurant. Absolutely incredible restaurant. I was blown away by the speed of the service, the freshness of the food and the hospitality of the waiters. I will be back.

The best sushi in the Area!. I've been to almost all of the sushi restaurants in the Baltimore area and Sushi King is by far the best! They have some great specialty rolls (My personal favorite is the Volcano Roll-Tuna, avacado, masago & crispy tempura flakes!) and their sushi is always fresh! You should definalty go!
