Rude Salespeople.
This business sent a door-to-door salesperson to my home this weekend. He was selling cleaning services and advertising the business showroom. The man was wearing a white and red horizontal striped shirt and there was someone else with him watching off in the distance who was wearing a green shirt. The salesperson was very pushy and became combative and rude after I declined their cleaning services. I am so irritated with the way I was treated that I've taken time to write this review.
No means no. If you want to act like a preschooler because I said no then there's absolutely no way I'm ever going to consider your company's services. Why would I buy cleaning services or vacuums from your company when you're going to throw a tantrum when things don't go your way? Buyer beware. Also take a look at the other 2 reviews for this company. Notice they use similar terminology and are both 1 review accounts? Something fishy is going on here.
Great Guy! Best Value for your Kirby - old or new!. Mike is probably one of the most honest business people I know. Granted, every time I come in with my Kirby, he asks me if I want to upgrade (my "baby" is over 20 years old!), but he doesn't try to hard sell you since he knows that if you/we take care of our Kirbys, they'll last forever! He indicated the same deal as the other review here, and my total came to $113.93, but this included: (1) clean-up/check-up, (2) New intake/seal tube, (3) Rear axle assembly, (4) Fresh wheels, (5) New light/lens, and other little stuff it needed. When he was going over everything he had to do I was squirming in my chair holding my breath. This was/is the BEST value for these machines anywhere. If it wasn't a Kirby, it wouldn't be worth it. I haven't picked it up yet, but I know it'll look as good as new, just like every other time! :)
A Good Guy!. found Kirby Vacuum of Glen Burnie in google and went there for the first time. I brought in my old Heritage II along with a part that I had purchased online. His policy was that he would do a checkup on any machine for $69.95 and then do any repairs for up to $169 without asking. I was apprehensive because he seemed upset that I had bought parts online and I thought he might pad the bill and take his time. I was pleasantly surprised when he had the vacuum ready the next day with the part that I had brought using the hardware from the vacuum when the new hardware was not quite right. He had also put in new motor brushes and a light bulb. for only $10 more. I found him honest and scrupulous.
