BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!!!!!
We bought a vehicle here and got the VIP program with it. Since the purchase we have not had one good experience with them. The VIP program is the biggest BAIT AND SWITCH ever. They get you to pay for this premium service that they CANNOT provide. They don't have the ability to provide the service that they promise. DO NOT BUY THE VIP program. We have only been to them three times now, and all three times have been a complete nightmare. We bought the interior/exterior protection program and the first service with them to have this done left our brand new vehicle with white streaks all over it... We had to take it back three times and argue with three different people who accused us of putting something on the vehicle.
We were promised that with the VIP service that all we had to do was bring the vehicle in and we would be moved to the front of the line and get serviced. Now only a few months after the purchase we are told that they don't have enough people to provide this service as PROMISED and SOLD and now we have to set an appointment and there is no more VIP service. How can a company sell you something and then tell you they are not able to provide you with the service you paid for.
They promise a car wash every time you take the care in for service, we took it in for the first oil change and NO CAR WASH... they have not done ONE thing that they have promised or that we PAID FOR!!!!
We have complained to the service manager and emailed them and not one of them has even bothered to respond to us or acknowledge us.
The only thing I can say that they have done consistently is NOT PROVIDE any customer service or actually provide any of the services they promised.
We are extremely disappointed in Sheehy Nissan. We are tired of companies lying and stealing from consumers. We are tired of being told that there is nothing they can do to fix the issue. I may not be able to fix this issue but I can warn others from getting ripped off by them. So here it is, you have been warned. They will steal your money and make promises they have no intention of keeping. Do not buy from them.
DO NOT TRUST GM MIKE HARRISON.
If you want honest, trustworthy sales agents and management for your next vehicle sale, then stay FAR AWAY from Sheehy Nissan of Glen Burnie. Lend a closer ear for the full tale.......
Imagine this situation for yourself. You wake up early monday morning to inspect a vehicle which came up for sale Friday. "Finally!", you think, "The perfect vehicle at the perfect price", and after weeks of reading reviews and pricing dealers within 100 miles no less. You inspect the vehicle, take it for a quick drive, and decide its the one for you. Immediately after your test drive you phone your wife who is waiting at the same corporate dealership but at another nearby location and tell her "Definitely! Tell our sales man we'll take it!" You see, we had been dealing with a nearby Sheehy dealer and felt it would be unfair to rob our sales rep out of a commission just because the vehicle was parked 20 miles away at a different dealer location. SO, elated, you drive down to the other dealer, sign all your preliminary paperwork, even take the tags off of your trade-in. No reason not to worry right? Well, thats what we thought, until an hour later when we are informed that the Glen Burnie location sold the vehicle out from underneath of us. YEA! We were literally used as pawns for the next buyer who came along so that the Glen Burnie manager, Mike Harrison, got a sale for his store instead of a different location. Buyer bought on the spot because they had already been phoned and told we were buying it. Mike Harrison's team of thugs were so sneeky about the deal that even the Annapolis Sheehy management had NO IDEA! DO NOT TRUST MIKE HARRISON AND SHEEHY NISSAN OF GLEN BURNIE. They are just not good people!
Not great at follow up. We recently bought a car here. During the purchase was told that a maintenace book was missing and that they would get us a copy and mail it out immediately. It has been two months with numerous calls to inquire and still no book. The sales person also did not do a good job in checking to make sure the car was ready. She checked off her sheet ahead of time as if she reviewed each item, but never did. When we got home we noticed the antenna and floor mats were missing and had to go back up to get them, since they were not mailed out as promised either when we called to inform the salesperson. The lady at the front desk tried to order them for us and charge us. It would be nice if the staff was as dedicated to customer service after the sale as they seem to be while they are trying to get you to buy a car.
