Never Again...

These guys are running a mechanical shop on office hours…8 to 5. The goal is to hurry and get those cars out the door. They don’t look at a problem completely. I took my car 3 times for the same problem…AC work. At the end I am told I need new condenser and compressor because a leak…$1500 repair cost. I wish you told me that the first time and before I spent $420 on the first two trips. First time they just filled it up with freon. Second time, he replaced a hose with fill up again. Third time...no thank you. I am not a sucker. Thanks for nothing. Never again.

I hope this review helps someone from being taken

advantage of like our family. We are new to the area

and a coworker suggested Car Doc for problems

with my car. When I first went there they seemed very

nice and did the repair fast and the price appeared

reasonable. I took our second car there and the

price was more but different car not the same problem

but I noticed we start having frequent problems with

both cars and the price just got worse each time.

Now my car is still having problems and we have

spent a fortunate. I also called another repair shop

not to far and the price over the phone was much

cheaper than Car Doc.

Save yourself some money and time and don't take

your car there.

Been using them for 3 years, just finding out now that they have probably been giving us used parts charging for new...

We've taken 2 separate cars to Car Doc for 3 years now and after getting an estimate that seemed too large after my research on the internet we took our SUV to another shop - the total was over $100 less, but only if I chose to have the work done because there was no reason to replace what I'd been told by Car Doc, HAD to be replaced. We took our second car to the new garage and was told that one of the parts that had supposedly been replace by Car Doc looked to be years old. After having them examine other parts replaced at Car Doc - found those to be the same, looked used and paid way, way too much. When we first started going to Car Doc they were always busy, lately they always have time and I can see why. We will never go back to Car Doc, even though we live on Ft. Meade and they are the closest - I would have my car towed to another garage first!

Have been going to CarDoc for over two years and they have always been very honest, pleasant people to deal with. They are not like most other businesses, they never try to rip you off. If they tell you your car will be ready at a certain time they mean it. Very dependable and reputable and the most reasonable prices I have ever seen. Much better service than a car dealer.

• Pros: convenient, plenty of parking
• Cons: not open on Saturday's.
