great half price pizza on Mondays. Not sure what is up with the people with bad experiences, but most of us don't post the bazillion times they do a good job. So here I am reppin' all the happy customers. I thin their pizza is a real bargain on Sundays and Mondays when its half off. Their pizza isn't "Spectacular" but I don't expect it to be. It's good pizza with a slightly sweet sauce. They get very busy but with a visit or two, you will get it down. I get a pie there just about every week with few or no complaints. They have always been pleasant to me.

If they f-ed up orders all the time they would not have a line out the door on some Monday nights. Just common sense on that one.

Not that good. They messed up a simple order. Then the owner tried to blame me and hang up when i told him. I remember they used to have good pizza but the last one had barely any cheese. Oh well. BTW they only can make pizza anyway, thier subs are sub par!

Half off pizza days gets you full time incompetence!. Maria's used to be a whole in the wall with good pizza and bearable staff on it's half priced pizza days on Sunday's and Monday's.

Tonight (Monday Nov. 1st 2010) was the straw that broke the camels back! I called and placed order, 20 minute wait, no big deal. I arrive and there is the typical 10 person pile up. I pay and wait, wait some more, still waiting, O WAIT WE DIDN'T MAKE YOUR PIZZA! The next stunt was brilliant, they made the pizza in front of me and when asked if that was my pizza I was told it will just be a minute. Long story short that 20 minutes turned into 40 with no compensation, a lousy pizza and them yelling at me while was walking out the door.

THAT'S WHY MARIA'S YOU GET A BIG FAIL!

Best Pizza. I grew up in Timonium and have tried all the local pizza shops. Maria's is by far the best and I think it's because of the hand tossed crust and great ingredients. Not to mention the restaurant(including the bathroom) is always very clean. Also, try the cheese steak subs. They're great too. My family has a weekly pizza and movie night and we always order Maria's.

Ripped off. The carry out menu highlighted a Thursday special: Buy any whole sub and get any second sub for 1/2 price. I called and asked if the special was valid for a cheese steak sub. Was told "Yes", so I placed an order. When I got there I was told no such special existed and I must have called another restaurant. The subs were there with my name.

First time: "Shame on me."

There will not be a second time.

A Great Local Place w very nice people. Half off on Sunday and Monday nights. One of the best Maryland Pizza's I have found. It's not the New Jersey Pie's that I ate growing up, but one of the best you can find down here.

not really pizza. maybe they skimp on their 2 for 1 special pizzas on sundays/mondays. there was almost no cheese or sauce and minimal toppings. sauce had no flavor. go somewhere else and pay full price for a real pizza. this is for teenagers looking for deals (2 for 1 or 50% off).

Best Eats on Sunday's and Monday's. Maria's Pizza on York Road is the one to best for other resturants in the neighborhood. Maria's service is fast and consistant. 1/2 Price on Sunday's and monday's and it is amazing to watch their systematic way of service.

So far, I have not found any competition for this eatery.......anywhere in the neighborhood.
