WORST SETTLEMENT COMPANY EVER!!!! RUN AWAY!!! STAY CLEAR!!! AVOID !!

They were forced onto us by auctioneer who was selling the property. They leveraged it to charge the most outrageous prices we have seen for a settlement company. Tried to upcharge for clearing title (based on some hourly lawyer rate when this a usual part of settlement fee). Don't take a chance on them, it will cost you money.

Nice people, very knowledgeable. I was purchasing my second home from a lender out of a foreclosure and had no idea what I was in for. The staff at Community Settlement Group went out of their way to make it the process easier. They helped solve problems with my lender and worked through many issues with the selling bank.

Expect Moore. I'm a Real Estate Professional dedicated to Baltimore County. One doesn't need a degree in rocket science to know the significance of local knowledge, which is one reason why I decided to write this review. Having experience with dozens of title companies over the years, I've found Community Settlement Group to out perform them all --- by far. CSG seems to always maintain their focus on flexibility, resposiveness and performance. As an agent, this is what I look for. Every settlement I've had with Community Settlement Group has been pain free and successful. Agents typically only refer title companies when we are on the buying side of the transaction. I actually recommend CSG when I'm also on the listing side, realizing I'm doing a favor for everyone involved. Community Settlement Group is conveniently located in Hunt Valley, but they also perform settlements outside of their office, a true testimonial to their flexibility. Try Community Settlement Group once, and my bet is that you will only have to make one call the next time you need a highly competent, professional organization to manage your settlement.

So Helpful. I recently settled on my first home and in this day and age the home buying process leaves a lot to be desired. The staff at Community Settlement Group took the time to answer all of my questions and made the day of closing truly a smooth process.

awful. they missed a lead paint claim and uncleared mortgage. Now costing me thousands! Changing staff all the time. very frustrating.

The Worst Settlement Company. This is the worst settlement company you will ever deal with!!!! Stay away!!!! They lie! I had the worst settlement of my life.

BEWARE - STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. This is not the title company for you! They will make excuses why they can not be somewhere that they promise to be. You will not settle on time if you use these people! They cost me thousands!!! Trust me go somewhere else! You will happy that you did!
