Worst service, worst food in Maryland
by Doug Marcus at Citysearch
Family went here on 2/5 for a celebration. The service was poor and the food was equal to the service.
The highlight of the day was the food poisoning I contracted.
The good news, nobody died.
no good seriously

ok we were seated at 7:20pm on a saturday there was a family dinner in front of us we ordered within 15min we were ecied it seemed like a great place eventually the familys food came out but in 4 20min increments and half complained of cold food whatever right just cant wait for the food you know wait and wait and wait and an hour and forty minutes later we got it after i went to the waitress and said just give me the check for the drinks were done its 9pm nd we want to go home so it just happened to be ready at that point im never going back the manager heard me complain and i still was billed full price so you know take your chances
- Pros: great atmosphere
- Cons: almost everything else
Horrible place ever
by charles69 at Citysearch
this review is about the manor tavern. the restaurant itself was nice, more formal feeling if anything.nothing taste good at all. the only thing my girlfriend enjoys is the maryland fries...... and there most likely out of the freezer. i have never met the owner, i believe his name is mike or mark.... something. But i have seen him before in the restaurant and let me tell you hes a crazy. Very Very vulgar, and rude, i saw him put down more alcohol than costumers put together. I'd rather eat at burger king than here. atleast there food most of the time comes out hot, flavorful. Ohhh and they dont put hollandaise or bernaise on everything, god i hate that they expect everyone to enjoy that nasty stuff.
- Pros: desserts, beer
- Cons: everything else
Dollar for Dollar, a Terrible Experience
by lynn_07 at Citysearch
I had read a poor review of the Manor Tavern before going and still elected to try it out for myself. I am sorry I didn't trust the review. This restaurant is the worse food and service experience I have had in years. The food was oversauced, was poor quality, had absolutely no flavor, and was so cold that it confirmed nothing was made to order but instead was likely served up out of an aluminum pan where it had been prepared several hours (or days) earlier. I would rather eat a frozen dinner than return. To make the experience even worse, the service did not compensate for the poor food. When they weren't forgetting something, their timing was terribly off - serving the entrees in the middle of the appetizer! To quote my husband, the worse "dollar for dollar" dining experience in Baltimore.
