take 3 of my cats to this vet and couldnt be more happier. I've worked in the vet and rescue field both which involve doing surgical procedures on animals and its very easy to blame the vets and practice for the loss of an animal while being under anesthesia. Even with bloodwork theres always a risk, And my question/comcern is about the procedure itself. Declawing is never reccomened by any vet and i've inquired about it my self to this veterinary practice, which they didnt reccomened it therfore I never did it, But if you do the research on declawing it is a COSMETIC surgery/ELECTIVE surgery, meaning not necessary so I blame the owner for even trying to have it done. This Vet practice is outstanding and all of its staff is too. First let me say that the receptionist Nikki is very funny and very very friendly she always knows me when i come in. I've seen 2 techs Erika, and Nina, both very knowledgable and share similar experiences in life which to me is very important. They've been there quite awhile now which is also very imprtant to me. all 3 of my cats are very comfortable with these techs and the Vet, Dr. Harker has been my vet for 3 years now. I would trust any of these women with my cats lives regarless of the outcome and that to me is all I need to continue bringing my animals there. I highly Reccomend this practice to anyone. My only advice is research any surgeries or just ask the staff if they would do it to there own animals. Like in human medicine theres always a risk with anesthesia, the only differance is people can talk animals can't.
