Red Loster Owings Mills.. After having a wonderful day with my family we dicided to go eat at Red Lobster. Big mistake, we were immediatley greeted with rudness from Noel (light brown eyes and light brown hair). Her attitude is aweful. The last place she needs to be in in the front or in the customer service field for that matter. She was rude to my family as well as her co-workers in the presence of customers. She was rolling her eyes and giving offensive body language and gestures. She has the typical unprofessional "I dont care" attitude to match. To add, once my family were seated, no waiter appeared for 20 minutes, But, by that time we had already spotted the wonderful job that a waiter was doing by the name Matt. We decided that nobody in the entire restaurant was professional and/or pleasant other than Matt and decided he would be our server. Although I completely loss my appetite Matt did do a good job. To add, I did request to see a manager and of course the staff did not notify her. I actually stopped her myself several minutes later as she passed our table. The manager Beth was pleasant and did offer the meal on the house but I will not be returning to Red Lobster. Very poor selection of workers. The workers also need to keep personal conversation to a minimum.
Casual crustacean-inspired chain serves up diet-defying seafood dishes in a family-friendly environment..
In Short
Live lobsters wriggle in a tank inside this seafood emporium, where nautical-patterned booths and colorful, fish-shaped tables in the bar area add subdued touches of whimsy to the room's classy dark wood accents. The menu can be downright decadent, with starters of artichoke lobster dip, seafood fondue, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Entrees feature lighter, grilled fare like mahi-mahi and North Atlantic sea scallops, along with signature lobster dishes, snow crab legs, and jumbo fried shrimp platters.
Great Snow Crabs, salads and rasberry lemonade!.
The thing I love best about Red Lobster in Ownings Mills is the friendly staff and management. The food is great. It's hot on arrival and if there is something you'd like reheated it's done with a smile. I have asked for my food to be delivered in a way that allows me to finish one course before the other arrives and I've had complete compliance.
The one time I had a question about my bill, the manager bent over backwards helping me to resolve the matter. It was only a misunderstanding on my part and not a true problem with my waitress. So, if you see a lady with three glasses on her table--one with ice, one with water and one with rasberry tea-- that will be me enjoying myself with a good book to read!
Horrible Staff & Clients. I have never seen any restaurant anywhere in the world stay in business with such a mismanaged staff in my entire life. The food is cold, the staff looks like they are from the worst projects anywhere and basically you have to wade through all the grease on the floor just to make it to the host stand where you'll find the brightest part of the restaurant, a young lady named Audrey other then that, bad forum all the way from fellow customers who are basically there to complain and get a free meal, I saw two tables yell at the staff and receive a free meal after they ate what they were complaining about. The fact of the matter is Columbia is only 30 min away, for the Red lobster experience, go to Columbia!
