Don't Come Here! – My husband and I dined at Egyptian Pizza in Owings Mills with another couple last week. We had been here before and I had a pretty bad lamb meal but decided to try this place again and ordered pizzas instead. The 2 pizzas we got were okay for the most part, except for the under-cooked broccoli on one of them and what tasted like imitation shrimp on the other but the SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! The restaurant only had a few other diners in it but the waitress didn't bring our drink order for over 25 minutes. We then didn't see the waitress for over an hour. I was so thirsty (I'm also 8.5 months pregnant) that I sent my husband to find our waitress to get us water. The other couple was also pregnant. The waitress finally came to our table (20 minutes later) and acted annoyed as she set down a pitcher of water. We didn't see her again until we had to ASK for our check.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! There is a reason that this place is empty every time we were there. We will never be back.
False Advertising Food Not Prepared As Menu States – On July 14, 2011 a to-go order was placed for a large Al Pacino Pizza: Italian tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, shrimp, fresh garlic, fresh cilantro, parsley and dill for a total cost of $19.05 including tax. They have other Pizzas on the menu with other listed toppings. I have had this pizza before on several in-house dining experiences. Since this was my first carry out pizza I had no reason to inspect the pizza. When I arrive home I found the pizza contained only the cheese and shrimp toppings. I had not eaten all day so yes I did eat half the pizza before calling the Manager who also spoke to the owner about my order. The manager stated that all of the toppings missing on the pizza were in the sauce. Having had the pizza before and reviewing other pizzas on the menu I found this hard to believe since the sauce would have to be the same for all pizzas. They refused to offer me any compensation. I took the half pizza back to the business and they again refused any type of compensation. So customers beware that you may not be getting what you think you have paid for at the Egyptian Pizza 9616 Reisterstown Road at Valley Center in Owings Mills, Maryland.
Great bargain!! – Tired of pizza and burgers? If you're looking for a place where you can get tasty food for a great price, this is your place.
I come here all the time with my family and we all love it. My kids - who are 3 and 5 - love it too because they get their own pita bread to dip in hummus or babaghanoush which they think is fun, even though it gets messy.
It is usually quiet, but not too quiet that you would be afraid to bring young children.
My favorites... Al Pacino pizza, any of the kabobs, mid-east platter
The only drawbacks are the lack of ambience, no beer or wine, and the desserts are not worth trying. If you want dessert, head down the street to Cold Stone Creamery.
Very good and fresh food – My co-workers and I eat lunch here at least once a week. The food is always fresh and well prepared. The pizza are unique and I recommend that you try them. The only problem is that it can get crowded at peak times. A great place for lunch or dinner.
Not a bad meal on the menu! – Egyptian Pizza was a recommendation as my roommate and I were new to the area. They boast excellent pizza in addition to their incredible Mediterranean fare. You should not be weary ordering anything you've never tried from this menu! Everything is delicious - and big portions for the entrees. Best recommendation for appetizer is the Mediterranean Combination platter - gives you a chance to try all of their Mediterranean finger food goodies including dolmades, hummus, falafel, and more. They are extremely accomodating to your tastes or preferences. For example, for those unable to eat dairy - they actually offer SOY CHEESE on their pizzas (which tastes just the same, meaning they chose good quality Soy products). Also I don't eat pasta, so they gladly traded the pasta in their delicious pasta and veggie entree for basmati rice. The best pizza on the menu that I've tried has got to be the Giza - featuring Mozzarella and feta cheeses, marinated flank of lamb, fresh dill, cilantro and parsley, black olives, roasted red bell peppers, served with spicy cumin sauce on the side. Again, don't be afraid to try everything on this menu -- and don't forget to bring your favorite bottle of wine or 6 pack of beer! They have a BYOB policy, and they'll even keep it cold for you!
When you go- be sure to ask for Helen because she's a sweetheart!
Worst Customer Service – Pesto Pasta - penne was overcooked, pesto sauce was sour, owner was rude and argued with me over the sauce and penne being bad. I've been going there for several years, it seems that the service has gone down. The owner was so rude.
Very Good Pizza – Very different and very good. Definitly worth trying. They have many different types for both Veggie and meat lovers.
Thirty-one gourmet pies, tender kabobs and hefty pastas make this multi-cultural restaurant fit for a pharaoh. – The Scene
This small, comfortable eatery serves pizza and Middle Eastern specialties to a casual neighborhood crowd. Complete with kitschy accents reminiscent of Egypt, this is the perfect place for unwinding with good friends and great food.
Imaginatively named wood-fired pizzas (Hawaiian, Sharm El-Sheq and Di Funghi, to name a few) are served on a thick, chewy, addictive pita bread base. Not in the mood for pizza? Tender, juicy, perfectly grilled kabobs come with flavorful rice, and the hummus is exquisite. Delicious veal with mushrooms, marsala marinara or calamari all appear over pasta. If you have room, satisfy your sweet tooth with a hazelnut chocolate mousse pyramid or luxurious rice pudding in an almond basket. The adventurous India pizza (mozzarella, tandoori chicken, yellow squash and tomato yogurt curry) is magnificent with mango chutney slathered on top.

Dude...IT's the BEST – Egyptian Pizza's Margherita Pizza is the best in the WORLD. Using the old fashione Egyptian style brick oven cooking, it is ranked high on my list.
Best of the Best – Such good Pizza and great variety. I have loved every pizza I ever tried there. And had wonderful ravioli too and much more.
