Only wanted to comment to the idiot before me.
It is 2008! Nobody with an education or common sense says "Darkies" anymore! I'm so disgusted by your comments! You need to come up to date we have a black man running for president! Get a life and a clue looser!
Briarwood.......turning DARK though.
Good complex. Was "home" for 3 years of my life. Close to metro (but that could be a bad thing). Across the street from a FoodLion, Wendy's, Lakeside Liquors, and Fortune China. Close to restaurants like Don Pablo's, Red Robin, and Tony Roma's. But too close to the DARK mall and movie theatres.
That's the reason I moved. Too many DARKIES moving to the area. Felt unsafe. Had the emblems stolen from both my cars in the apartment parking lot. Apartment does have a pool, but too many little Tootsie Rolls running around and screaming that you can't relax. Briarwood was good about 4 years ago when the people who lived there were professionals, NOT from the city and relocated to the "burbs".
So if you can tolerate DARK people, then this is a good place to live.
