Bad News/Good News. For the first two reviewers, you do not have to worry anymore, Dr Kahntroff died of a massive heart attack...

Now, if you can find a Doctor that is not arrogant and condescending, then that is a rare find. Get tougher skin. Dr Kahntroff is was a good man, a bit aloof, a bit condesending, but still was a good doctor.

He saved my life. I totally disagree with both reviews. This man saved my life in 2001 while in my 30's when I went to see him with a pain in my throat thinking I pulled a muscle which actually turned out to be an aortic disection .The same thing that killed John Ritter in 2003. Fast forward 9 years later he saved my father's life in 2010 by listening to of all places his neck when he came in for a pain in his leg!. The pain in the leg turned out to be a bruit that could have resulted in a massive stroke! The saddest thing was he passed away yesterday - probably because while he was an AWESOME DOCTOR and took EXCELLENT CARE of his own patients he was not good patient himself. True, he may not have had the best bedside manner- but he was thorough and an expert in all that he did. The more time you would spend with him- believe me you would really enjoy his personality becasue he did in fact have a great sense of humor. Did you even try? I would rather spent an hour with him and still be alive than go to someone who would spend 15 minutes rushing me out the door. My testimony is one that I share with folks to this day and my whole family and some friends loved him and went to him because he was so good. he will be missed I am so devastated there will never be another one like him. REST IN PEACE Dr Kahntroff. You were the best.

Agree with below. Previous review took the words right out of my mouth.

Recently moved to the area about 2 months ago and had to find a doctor that was nearby. Just my luck. I just had to choose this person.

At least the secretary was nice.

Time to find a new doctor.

Dr. Kahn-WRONG. WOW! Worst doctor...EVER! Quite possibly be the most rude person I have ever met. The worst hour I have ever spent in my life. This dude defines CONDESCENDING. I actually looked up the word in the dictionary and it said "See Brain Kahntroff". How does he even stay in business? I am definately calling my insurance company to switch doctors. If you see this guy on your insurance plan, PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. His rating on here is low for a reason. Go with a younger doctor who looks, acts, speaks to you professionally. I know, I know. Never judge a book by it's cover. But you CAN judge a book by reading the last chapter. AND WHAT I AM WRITING IS THE LAST CHAPTER! I can go on and on about the "worst hour of my life" but I have a limited space to write. This guy's technique is so old fashion. He tries to stress exercise yet I would bet my right thumb he has never stepped on a treadmill. The only running he does is to the Dunkin' Donuts down the street. Please heed my WARNING. There are plenty of doctors within the area. CHOOSE ANOTHER!
