Well, it's obvious that these reviews ARE REALLY OLD! I have been a client of Pasadena Animal Hospital for several years. I think Dr. Etter and his staff are AWESOME! I've had Dr. Etter and his staff treat my pets for many years. Dr. Etter's animal hospital has been in Pasadena for many years, and I'm so happy they are now able to take on new patients, as some of my neighbors have asked who I take my pets to. My cats and dogs have always been treated very well by Dr. Etter and his staff, and I wouldn't EVER think of going anywhere else. They are the BEST!

Fantastic Dr Alexander - Front Desk OUCH !!. Dr. Alexander is the BEST !! I would trust my family , kids, and Mercedes with him. He is the best caring knowledgeable Dr I have come across in many many years. NOW the FRONT DESK GIRL wow she needs help. If it was not for Dr. Alexander I would not be able to deal with the laim simplistic way the desk is run ...Sorry apperantely I'm not the only one who see this. Hopefully they get the Staffing needed to compliment the DR. A !! I would want to know if it was my practice !! Thanks

GREAT VET :). We just got our puppy a few months ago and Pasadena Animal Hospital is amazing with him. We are first time dog owners and they have definitely helped us!! They know us when we walk in and they absolutely adore our puppy Rummy!! Dr. Alexander is great.. he's so friendly and caring!! I recommend them to EVERYONE!! They are great and even if we move I will still take Rummy there!!

Dr. Alexander is awesome. We just moved and needed a new vet. We had an emergency visit and they were excellent in getting us in right away and taking care of our dog. She was diagnosed with IMHA and over the weekend they had called to check up and see how everything was. We went back to check levels and Dr. Alexander explained everything and answered every question we had. We had to rush our furbaby to the emergency vet to get a blood transfusion which her body unfortunately rejected. Through it all Dr. Alexander and staff were understanding and helped us greatly.

We appreciate everything Dr. Alexander has done and the resources he provided.

Not friendly staff. We are new to the area and after recommendation from a local pet store we made appointment to Pasadena Animal Hospital. Dr. Alexander was very good and nice but that where it ends. Staff was very uncaring and unfriendly. Receptionists did not even bother to see over their desks what kind of animal I was bringing in and they constantly kept getting my pets name and sex incorrect. During exam cleaning lady stormed in without knocking and later lady giving vaccinations did it in a less pleasant manner.

Last straw was when we had emergency at home and I called to talk to the vet and receptionist told he would not be available until late afternoon and I asked if the receptionist would not mind to ask a specific question from the vet but she declined and answered it herself (answer was later proven to be wrong). My pets health is more important than sticking to a hospital that can not provide care when I need it.
