Delicious Ice-Cream and Good Setting. I went there with my mother and my grandmother. It was good, my niece, Maddie, loved the children's menu names. They had a selection of characters that she loved, and she liked to order dessert because it was the best ice-cream ever. Since my grandfather knew the owner and employees, they served us very well with manners for us, allowing us to sit down and think a little bit before we ordered. Overall, that was one of the best services of a restaurant I've gotten yet!

Do I even have to give one star thats toomuch for this place. The waitress was pissy and to busy fawning over some male patron a table behind us. We constantly shouting for her attention for rolls, she never offer and our drinks to be refilled etc. This is not Greek food it is the worst example of anyfood I have tasted. I took two bites, and ask them to send it back. They still over charged me for the mini soup that came with the meal. Then my friends Aunt found a hair in her food, she pulled it out her mouth, instead of offering some compensation, they charge her full price for another meal. Don't go if you have more than two people, they don't do seperate receipts. We were informed by the waitress they will seperate at the register for us, and "John" at the register told us the manager policy he can't seperate it for us. He handed us a calculator. Then when I ask him about my overprice soup, and ask to speak to the manager he said he was the manager. Poor busy and customer service never ever ever will I eat there again.

Best German Chocolate Cake Around!. I have been to three different Double T's - This is was pretty good, the wait staff was attentive and polite the first visit. The second visit the woman waiting on my looked harried, tho her section was not busy and sat down after doing something for me or another table. I reccomend the lamp Chops and the German Chocolate cake! Both were excellent. My son loved the chicken tenders! Overall I would come back again, if for anything the German Chocolate Cake!

Rude employees/ Owners - Familys NOT WELCOME!. I think we all know double tt diner is not a high class ritzy place. I would consider it a family restaurant ? wouldn?t you?? We?ll apparently not, and if you have children I recommend not going there. You will be treated rudely and experience disrespect by management. My family and I would go there at least once a week after our children?s tumbling class and yet we were still looked at as an inconvenience. This evening it was myself, my children, my sister, and her twins. Our children were being children of course, not the quietest beings in the diner but not unruly either. An older woman approached my sister, singling out her children, and told her to quiet them down because people were complaining. I?m sorry let me just take their batteries out! Horrible.

Mediocrity meets the public. No matter what you get, it will be bland. All dinner entrees hover around 12 - 15 bucks, all come with bland soup, indifferent baked goods, unimpressive salad, etc. Yawn

A big pseudo-chrome facade signals suburbanites to pull over for comfort food.. The Scene
Started in 1959, this local chain references its natal decade with broadly executed, non-invasive design elements. Patrons won't find waitresses in poodle skirts or chefs with Elvis hairdos. Instead, expansive dining areas--twice the size of their milkshake-making predecessors--feature countless high-backed booths with formica tables and a small counter with padded, spinning stools. Located primarily alongside highways, these tamed down truck spots have successfully targeted the SUV-driving masses.

The Food
Quantity takes precedence over quality in a menu that fills one oversized, laminated spiral notebook. Eggs, burgers, sandwiches and salads are all accounted for with expected fare coming in myriad variations. That means pancakes are topped by strawberries, blueberries, chocolate chips or apple raisin-cinnamon as well as syrup; poultry and fish are prepared alfredo, marsala and caprese. A handful of Greek specialties acknowledge the founders' ethnicity but this bustling enterprise is more a tribute to the American entrepreneur than a Mediterranean expatriate.

Great Breakfast. As someone who recently relocated to Baltimore from NYC, the Double T Diner is the best place to eat breakfast that I've found in either Baltimore or NYC. The other meals or good as well, but breakfast is a must.

You name it, they got it!. With a menu that's about 340 pages long, if you can't find a comfort food at the Double T, then you can't be comforted anywhere!

From plain old breakfasts of eggs and bacon, to lunch of meatloaf and maccaroni & cheese (with green beans, of course), to dinners of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, you can't miss at the Double T.

If I've had a less than stellar day and I need comfort, this is where I go. And so do a lot of other people. No matter what time of the day or night, they're always busy. They must be doing something right! That something is serving up great "comfort food".

sloppy slop. Bad food. Look as if it had been dropped on the floor and then tossed back onto plate (it was a chicken sandwich). The sandwich had no flavor and was stupid looking.
