I have used Wayne's Service Center Inc. for many years. They are always helpful and honest. I depend on them to tell me the truth and they are just terrific guys to deal with.

Stay far, far away!. I would give zero stars if I could. Wayne spent more time personally insulting me than discussing the actual repairs on my car. Ask him a question and he won't answer it directly. He thinks he is infallible from his 30 years of experience in the auto repair industry. I took my car to another mechanic for a second opinion, and over half of the (expensive!) repairs Wayne recommended were not necessary. His hourly labor charge isn't as high as a dealer, but it's very high for an independent mechanic. Avoid this shop at all costs!

Truly Fantastic, Extraordinary Service. My husband and I took our neglected 2002 Jetta TDI to Wayne's Service Center and Wayne and his team brought it back from the dead, quickly and affordably. This vehicle had endured years of serious abuse and neglect from a family member, and is now running like a brand new car. Wayne was amazing - he walked us through every step, took it to the body shop for us, had the state inspector examine the car. We have never had an experience like this and will never take our vehicles to anyone but Wayne. (Wayne even called later to see how the car was running!) He was affordable, meticulous and incredibly accomodating to our special needs vehicle and tricky schedule. I am struggling to really articulate how well Wayne and his shop took care of us. He knows diesel cars and VWs like no one else. We were incredibly lucky to find Wayne (and our car was even luckier!). Thank you, thank you thank you, Wayne!

TAKE YOUR VW OR AUDI to DEALER INSTEAD. the first time I took my 1990 jetta diesel to wayne,he asked me if I noticed the wheels wobbling so he replaces the 2 rear wheels. when I had a problem with the engine just cutting off on the highway, i took it into him on april 2010 and he replaces the fuel filter, bleeds the line and says everything is ok. I drove the car to Harford county and the engine cuts off on I-95 north near Edgewood.I would never take a german made car to him and would recommend a dealer even though they probably charge the same as his outrageous labor costs of 95 an hour.

would not recommend- major issues. I had major issues with Wayne's Service Center. I took my vehicle there for a transmission issue and 3 weeks later was told the issue was fixed. I paid and took the car home but the problem was not fixed. Multiple phone calls, two months and four trips back to the shop later and still nothing is fixed and they could not care less. If you are female, you cannot deal with them- I know because I personally had a very sexist comment aimed at me by the owner. Very disappointing, disrespectful service.
