Worth a drive. We drive down from Baltimore about once a week for the Breakfast Shoppe's delicious meals. Specials are fabulous - my favorites are the pumpkin pancakes and crepes Florentine. If you ask for fruit instead of potatoes, you get a still life of beautifully arranged, perfectly fresh berries, melons, pineapple, orange, bananas etc. Can't imagine what caused another reviewer to give the place 2 stars after just one visit. A bad hangover maybe?? Warning: there's always a line after 8 a.m. and service can sometimes be slow.

Not that great. We went there because of great reviews but were quite disappointed. Breakfast was very average and expensive. I would not return this place considering you can have much better tasting breakfast in any chain restaurants for much less.

Breakfast Galore!. We have been going to the Breakfast Shoppe for quite some time. Apparently the secret of this little eatery came out in the MD Gazette because people are often standing out in the cold to get in! The neat thing about the Breakfast Shoppe is that they concentrate mainly on breakfast style foods (although they do serve lunch) and it is not your IHOP, Denny's, Bob Evans, or Friendly generic breakfast. They have many original type dishes and there is usually a special of the day that they offer. We have never had a bad meal. They are sort of on the small side and sometimes the service is a little slow, but nothing that would keep you from coming back to this little gem of a place:) Everything is made fresh and it has a most enjoyable atmosphere!

Best of the suburbs. Friendly service and good food from this family-owned local restaurant. It's not big or fancy, but it's certainly a satisfying experience. We've been regulars since we moved to the area 15 years ago!
