Food is mediocre, service is bad. If you are a teenager and like being waited on slowly by preoccupied teenagers, then this is the place for you. Even the manager is 20-something. I think people like this place because it is the only "diner" in Westminster. But the food is bland, service is poor, and I don't think the owners care. I've been here many times over the years and after last weekend, I finally decided that you get what you pay for. I'm an adult, I can afford better.

Good Food, Great Price.. It's not a chain. If you are looking for a deal then order the special or flip the menu over to the back, to the childrens and seniors menu. When is the last time you took your kid to a real restaurant? What was available on the kids menu? Nuggets? Hot dogs? Maybe grilled cheese? Here you can get seafood, pasta, chicken, steak, pork and more.

The kids dinners come with the drink and dessert. A steak, baked potato green beans, drink and hot fudge sundae is less than 8 bucks. All the time. And anyone can order it. Kid or senior or you or I, they don't care. Weekends, holidays, no matter, same price, anyone.

It's a beautiful thing. It's not widely advertised but the locals know and you should know too.

Food good. Service awful. I have eaten here many, many times. Mostly, the food is good, and fairly quick. The service is usually awful. I asked for the manager one day to complain, and an 18 year old girl showed up at my table saying she was the manager (she was one of the culprits, so you know how far that went). I don't think this place has a manager. I would love to see an owner or manager listed so I could tell them all the things I'd like to tell them about my experiences here as a regular customer. The waitresses DON'T pay attention to what you order, or to the fact that you may want another cup of coffee or something. They are too busy talking amongst themselves. I'll sum it up. The food is usually quite good (they had problems one day with pancakes that were cold and like cardboard for several customers.....even after bringing out new ones), but the service is NOT good. Consider yourself lucky if your waitress comes back at all before you're done eating (*if you even get your food.......one day myself and a companion waited for about 20 minutes (no exaggeration) after being seated and ordering. No one could find our waitress. As I'm walking around trying to find her, one of the other waitresses found her and told her.......she says to me.....I'll get your check!!!!!!!! She was totally clueless!!!!!! She hadn't even turned our order in. That is just beyond belief, and she should have been FIRED. There used to be two really good waitresses here, but they both left.........which may have been a red flag to what is going on here with this place. I only wish they could get some good wait staff here and it would be sooooo much nicer.

Quick Bite to eat with Atmosphere!. This is actually a upscale Denny's to me. The food is terrific and the staff was exceptional. My son was hungary which is unusual since I have to fight him to eat at times and he got the kids hot dog. He woofed it down and I ordered him one more and it was out in no time at all. Our waiter checked on us enough but not so much it was annoying. He made sure our drinks were filled and we made sure we tipped him generously in the end. I appreciate good service and I will be returning to the establishment.

The atmosphere is like a 50-60's Malt shop, has a ton of neon lights inside and a old Jukebox upfront (wurlitzer for those who know what it is) which plays still. They also have Double Kiss Ice Cream shop (same owner) on the outside of the Diner to the left. Excellent Ice Cream hand dip and also Grillers to go!
