Overpriced tasteless food. You would think for $20 entree's you'd be getting a great meal, not so. I'm confused how how this place won best of Carroll County ever. I've been here once when we moved to the area and don't plan on returning. The place looked quiet nice but that and the beer are all they have going. You can judge a good restaurant by their onion soup and it was tasteless at Johansson's. The service was extremely slow, over 10 minutes until our waitress greeted us and an hour to get our food. Don't waste your time of money here. It seems the owners are trying to make it something it is not, this is Westminster not DC.

Good. Johanssons is a nice place to eat. It can be a little pricey for what you get. I reccommend asking for the bar menu, the crab melt is good.

Not What It Used to Be. J's used to be our favorite restaurant in the Westminster area. No longer. Some time back they started making changes in the menu and the brewery. Changes not for the better. Service is still good, we like the rooms, but the menu selections and food preparation have taken a step or two back over the last couple of years, while prices stayed high. It is a shame as we really used to look forward to a couple of meals a week at J's. Desserts and some dishes downsized a lot, which is a plus as they used to be too large, but the prices are now too high for the quality of food served.
