Sunday Brunch with Mimosas & Bloody Mary's. Eggs Benedict served over lump crabmeat. Decadent and delicious as a Sunday starter. My mate ordered the seafood omelette and DD the Belgium Waffle. The omelette was the fluffiest and largest I had ever seen. Wife pronounced it "divine".

DD has experience with Mt. Vernon because it is so close to her home. I'm glad she escorted us here. Upstairs dining room is unpretentious, but inviting. Service was very friendly and efficient. Staff knows the regulars, regulars know the staff, all have a good time at this great brunch location.

Surprise. Go figure that a place with a ribs and steak name would offer such a wide variety of breakfast and other choices.

Not just a bacon and egg breakfast, but consistently good eggs Benedict, omlettes, quiches and quesidias. Priced a little above the greasy spoons, but well below their real competition - the fancy brunch.

Great service, too.

We had dinner there once. The menu was varied and interesting, prices reasonable and the food well prepared.
