Della Notte recently hosted my son's rehearsal dinner. My son is the first of my kids to get married - so I was a bit nervous about the logistics - but as it turns out, I cannot say enough good things about the event. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our evening was truly special. They made every effort to accommodate our every request. The menu was absolutely fabulous....the guests raved about the food and service.

The selection of entrees for our special menu was very impressive and the portions were generous - and most importantly every dish was delicious.

The staff was incredibly attentive, prompt and courteous.

Thanks again Della Notte for making our special event so wonderful!

Menu and prices don't deliver on your plate – The prices and description of food did not match the quality at all. We had veal, which was thick, dry, over seasoned and inedible. Served with a side of undercooked potatoes and the thick chunky stalks of asparagus. The seafood pasta with "shrimp, crab and calamari" was pasta in a pink sauce. No recognizable seafood, only tiny mystery chunks that must have been the seafood, which was tasteless. $28 for a plate of pasta. One friend had the crab cakes, the only edible food served: $40 by the way, and we had equally good crab cakes the day before for $12 at the Irish bar across from the HIlton Garden Inn. We did not eat the veal meal at all....they took off one of the 2 veal dinners from the check, even though neither had been eaten, and we had a hefty wine bill which more than covered the cost of the "food" that they served. Save yourself and somewhere else!

Read This First – Della Notte inspired me to write my first review... Yes, it was that bad. I'm pretty sure the staff we experienced was using in between serving. The food was bottom of the barrel. How they can charge what they do beats me, but they probably will not much longer. We were there after a show one night, and we were one of 5 tables. I only have two good things to say about the experience. One, I know I never want to go back. Two, the olives they serve with the bread are pretty good.

A treat for the senses! – The food at Della Notte is visually appealing as well as palate-pleasing. The menu always includes a variety of new appetizer and entree specialities as well as their delicious standard dishes like roast lamb and veal with wonderful wine reductions and pasta with seafood and savory sauces. The dessert menu is also varied and includes creme brulee, gelate, tiramisu & zabaglione. My husband and I always enjoy the spaciousness and lack of crowding in this beautifully appointed restaurant with soft music playing in the background and prompt, polite servers. They even pick you up & drop you off at the theater, symphony, etc., if you are going there. It's our favorite restaurant!! Also, they have their own parking lot which is a boon in downtown Baltimore.

Very Good Overall Experience – This is a solid Italian restaurant with some unique dishes. The chicken dishes are not as good as they sound on the menu (not bad either). The veal is excellent. Salads are unique and delicious. Desserts are highly rated. Overall service was a 10 and the atmosphere is fun. Very loud so I do not recommend this restaurant if you want to have an intimate conversation, unless you go when it is off peak times.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena – Locals flock to Little Italy for Mediterranean-inspired dishes including homemade pastas and seafood, prepared daily.

A Great Place for Two to Dine – The food was generally excellent (Calamari was chewey), and the service was superior and very friendly, without being clingy. The atmosphere in the Rotunda was both comfortable and elaborate. We sat at a window overlooking a very busy intersection. THis restaurant just jumps put at anyone driving by - that is why we stopped in. I recommend it very highly for a later evening dining experience that you should not forget easily. Try their delicious "Whipped Cream and Strawberries" desert.

Great Job – We had the wedding rehersal dinner for my daughter at the Della Notte. THey sat 24 of us in the main dining area and let us order off the menu. Food was outstanding, served hot and very quick considering the number in our party. Service was top notch. Could not have been better!!!!

Fantastic Evening! – The best food in Little Itlay, without question and the most extensive wine list in the city. The live entertainment at the piano bar made for a relaxing conclusion to one of the finest meals my husband and I have ever had.

Love it! – Beautiful decor. Yes, there is a tree in the center of the restaurant but it adds to the ambience. Great service. Great food. I have enjoyed this restaurant every time I have dined there which has been many times. A+!
