Hard Rock Cafe has really gone downhill. Awful service, horrible food, and unfriendly waitress. We will not be back.
Bad food. The food had an almost burnt taste. There was nobody in there and the music was way too loud. The parking is also bad.
Worship rock legends while dining on familiar American favorites..
In Short
Walls covered with decades of Top-40 memorabilia, rock songs blaring in the background and an all-American menu typify this music-themed restaurant. The kitchen churns out group-friendly appetizers like nachos and Southern staples like barbecue ribs and chicken. Burgers are served with hefty sides of fries and the signature pulled-pork sandwich is topped with vinegar barbecue sauce. The gift shop sells branded items like T-shirts, shot glasses and hats.
Disappointing. My family was downtown for an event and decided that it might be fun to experience the Hard Rock Cafe. The music and decor was fun and lively; the opposite of our scowling waitress. Then we opened the menu. $15 cheeseburgers. $7.50 kids meals. What! And those were the cheaper items. But we figured that for that price the food must be fantastic, especially given that this is a famous restaurant . Wrong. The burgers: mediocre, the fries: average, the mac-n-cheese: blah, the salad: plain. We left with our tummy's dissatisfied and our wallet empty. And we are really not picky people.
Horrible Food - Good Music.
Simply put, the food at the Hard Rock Cafe is much worse than 2 doors over at ESPN Zone. The entrees were very salty and the sides tasted like they came fresh out of a can and microwaved. The salad was pretty tasteless too.
Our waiter was a bit weird and constantly came to our table; it was a bit overbearing.
The atmosphere is good if you like rock memorabilia and an eclectic blend of loud music.
Like having the band in your backyard!. Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore's Power Plant provides awesome acoustics and atmosphere. As a matter of fact, my favorite local band recorded their second CD live at the Hard Rock. Inside, there is plenty of room for dining set away from the band or you can have your food sent to the bar. Outside, in the Summer, bands perform on the deck by the water and the tiki bar. There's nothing like frozen margarita, outside with your favorite band, at the Hard Rock Cafe!
